Planetary Transits

for December 13 – December 19

 

Sun transits out of Scorpio and into

Sagittarius, Dec. 16 at 1:57 a.m. (CT).  Sun is weak until Dec. 21.

 

Moon is waxing and transits Capricorn,

Aquarius, Pisces, and into Aries.

 

Mars transits Gemini, from 13:06 to 10:27°. 

Mars is retrograde until Jan. 30 and remains in Gemini until April

28.  This is an unusually slow transit

for Mars, which focuses business on the housing and property market.

 

Mercury transits out of Scorpio and into

Sagittarius, Dec. 16 at 1:07 p.m. 

Mercury is under the aspect of Ketu, Dec. 17-22, and is combust until

Jan. 10.  Be careful with business and

communications.

 

Jupiter transits its mooltrikona sign,

Sagittarius, from 04:45 to 06:21°.  Jupiter is under the aspect of Ketu until Jan.

4, and is combust until Jan. 5.  There

may be setbacks with law and/or religion.

 

Venus transits its mooltrikona sign,

Libra, from 15:04 to 23:23°.   Venus is under the aspect of Saturn until Dec.16.

(Expect an end to the strike by the Writers Guild of America after Dec. 16.)

 

Saturn transits Leo, from 14:33 to 14:35°, outside the orb of influence of

other planets.

 

Rahu and Ketu transit Aquarius and Leo,

respectively, from 06:06 to 05:54°.  Persons with rising signs in the 5 to 6-degree

range, or with planets in odd signs in the 5 to 6-degree range, should be

careful and patient.

 

Transits for each

“Rising sign” (Not “Sun sign”):

 

Aries:  Focus on marriage and partnerships.  Expect gains from same.  Children, education and investments are

vulnerable until Dec. 21.  Manage your

health and avoid new debts.  Work on your

own projects and independence.  Expect

good fortune in 2008.

 

Taurus: 

Keep some attention on your parents, property, children, investments and

home life.  Connect your career with service,

health, law, or finances.  Be patient

with losses, expenses, travel or relocation through April.  There may be some windfalls in 2008.

 

Gemini: 

Be patient with your health and entrepreneurial activities through Dec.

20.  Focus on your children, education,

investments, and creative projects. 

There should be gains, income and new friendships through April.  Consider marriage and partnerships in 2008.

 

Cancer: 

Focus on your property and home life, and be careful while

traveling.  Be patient with delays, and

disappointments.  Be careful with communications

and entrepreneurial activities through mid-Jan. 

Protect your career.  There may be

losses, expenses, travel or relocation through April.   

 

Leo: 

 Exercise patience through Dec.

20.  Get some extra rest, and be careful

with communications.  Focus on your

entrepreneurial activities connected with marriage and partnerships.  Expect good fortune through April and successful

investments in 2008.

 

Virgo:  Focus on your entrepreneurial activities, but

do not strain too much.  Be careful

before you speak to avoid losses and misunderstandings.  There may be some travel, expenses or

relocation with your career through April. 

Organize for property and family success during 2008.

 

Libra:   Expect

gains, income and friendships through investments, education and creative

projects.  Marriage and partnerships

contribute to your success through April. 

Focus on communications and entrepreneurial activities – in

teaching, publishing, and consulting -- during 2008.

 

Scorpio: 

Focus on your career, but do not strain too much.  There may be some setbacks with your wealth,

status and family life.  There can be

some improvement after Dec. 20 and more improvement in Jan.  Be careful with your health and finances

through April, but enjoy success in 2008. 

 

 

Sagittarius:  There can be some gains through your own self

efforts, but be patient with losses and expenses in your career through Dec.

20.  Put some attention on meditation and

spiritual practices through Jan. 5. 

Invest in marriage and partners and expect success in 2008. 

 

Capricorn:  Focus on your status, career, and family

life.  Be careful with fire, theft,

disputes, and debts -- with parents, property, and home life through

April.  There may be some travel or relocation

in 2008.  Consider meditation, research

and mystical knowledge for the next two years.

 

Aquarius:  Tell your spouse or partner to be careful to

avoid accidents and to be patient with delays or setbacks.  There may be some vulnerability with income and

friendships until Jan.  Focus on property

investments and entrepreneurial activities. 

Expect success in 2008.

 

Pisces: 

Be careful with your health, debts, marriage and partnerships. There may

be some losses and expenses with the marital bond or windfalls through Dec.

16.  Invest in property and home life through

April.  Expect success with your career

in 2008.
