Dear Thor,

Namasthe. Thanks for all the blogs-I did read the one with the Transit event of Mars becoming stationary, suffering an affliction from Tr Rahu and the excellent graph to put the whole thing in relief.I find all the things you say interesting and promptly save them for future reference! As I have been busy preparing for the conf and also editing my book, I could not devote more time to your very detailed and interesting work.No I am not asleep, I know the value of your work!

Best regards Sankara

Dear friends,

I have been posting a lot in the last month or so, including the new blog. But it seems the more I post the less feedback or discussion there is on the SAMVA list. That is not good. We want a lively list. What happened? Should I take a break? Let me know.

Dear Thor:

With my recent interest in the SAMVA website, I am still more on the

reading and learning end of your terrific blog material and the

insights posted by its members ...

But, if I may add to the comments of others who are more

knowledgeable ...

Your blog posts of the USA historical background combined with the SA

analysis for the Cancer rising USA chart leaves me always

impressed ... having lived through some of the historical events, I

really find it interesting to read about them with the SA analysis

using pictures, graphs, etc. ...

Interestingly enough I have had a person contact me recently for an

SA reading who happens to have been born a few weeks before the 1933

Bank Holiday occurred ... this person is also Cancer rising and was

born in the last year of JU/RA period ... it will be even more

interesting I think to do the reading for her given the recent blog

material you put forth on that historic event ...

I personally find it fascinating to connect your blog information

with what may have been going on in individual's charts who lived

through some of those events ...

My thanks to you and the other learned members who contribute to this

site ...

Best Wishes,

Mew

Dear Thor,

I have a profound respect for the terrific job you are doing on SAMVA and your blog.

From my own experience, I know that finding the right chart for a country is a difficult endeavour.

That's why I was very impressed when the SAMVA USA chart emerged.

I file all discussions and articles from your blog for further study.

At present, lack of time cannot permit me to participate.

Later maybe I hope.

All the best...

Dear Tom,

Thanks for the kind words. Glad you are finding the analysis helpful.

You and all members should feel free to try your hand at analysing

the charts under discussion and even venturing predictions of your

own based on them. It is not only fun but is by far the best way to

learn.

Dear Sankara,

You are welcome. Glad to hear that you are preparing for the SA

conference. I hope we get to see your presentation on the list after

it has been presented and discussed at the conference. I am sure it

will be an eye opener, as was your last presentation. A book by you

would also be a very welcome addition to the SA library. Great news!

Dear Mew,

Glad you are finding the blogs of the historical events an

interesting addition to your study of SA and helpful in discussing

with clients. As my chart of Bobby Fischer shows, the potential of SA

is really amazing. Fischer began playing and studying chess daily

when he was six years old. " At the age of eleven " , he said, " I just

got good at it " . His IQ was estimated at 180, so no wonder he got

good at what he was focused on. His chart is so easy to read with SA,

showing both the strong points and the problem areas. After studying

SA almost daily since 1998, I feel like I am finally getting good at

it. Two things about that. I am not eleven, so I remember a lot of

historical events from personal experience. And if I were only a

little bit smarter, maybe it wouldn´t have taken me so long to get

good at it. :)!

Best wishes,

Thor

Dear Jo,

Nice to see your post. Thank you for the compliment. Indeed, it has

taken a lot of work and time to find the SAMVA USA chart. In that I

have been supremely lucky. First, I found SA and

who gave me the means to understand what works in astrology and what

doesn´t. Second, I have been fortunate to be associated with also a

lot of interesting astrologers on this list who have covered many

charts in years gone by. Third, John TWB joined the list and helped

us understand the US history much better and finally came up with the

event that resonated so strongly and is now the SAMVA USA chart.

Indeed, an authentic chart is the holy grail of mundane astrology. I

hope you find a comparable chart for France. We wouldl love to hear

about it here. Finally, I hope things are going well for you. Are

you still operating your SA blog in French? Give my regards to Remi.

Your presence on SAMVA would definitely be a nice addition - whenever

you have time.

Best wishes,

Thor

Dear Thor…

I think we are all guilty of reading your blogs, but not having time to interact on the List.

Anyone practicing SA for some time is

probably swamped with readings!

Your efforts are always appreciated…

And didn’t I just post an email on Bobby

Fischer?

Something is weird with my email ever

since the crash a

couple of months ago… I’m getting emails two and three days late…
