Guest guest
Dear List, Hillary Clinton along with Barak Obama are the two contenders for the U.S. Democratic Presidential nod. Two birth times have been suggested for Hillary, one for 8am the other for 8pm. (data for the candidates charts have been given in earlier SAMVA posts). The 8pm chart shows that she just entered a Rahu subperiod yesterday which will run the rest of the course of her campaign. In her natal chart, the Rahu-Ketu axis directly influences her old-aged natal Mercury. By the end of March, the transiting nodal axis will begin to influence her old-aged natal Saturn, placed in the 2nd house of status and ruler of the 9th house of good fortune. Saturn also acts as the Sun in this 8pm chart. This influence becomes exact late May and could spell problems for her and her campaign when the nodes slow from July-September. This transit could cause some strife during the Democratic National Convention in late August. A transit Jupiter to transit Saturn aspect in early September may help a little but things may not lighten up until the nodes separate completely from Saturn in early October. Interestingly, Saturn figures in again if we cast her chart for 8:00am. She would be in a Saturn subperiod which would again highlight the transit nodal influence. Natal Saturn is weakened by old age, weak dispositor, and an afflicted MT house. This chart would also present difficulties as the nodes station near the MEPS of her even-numbered houses. Guest guest
Dear Shayn, Thanks for the analysis of these two chart. In my post of Jan 6, 2008, I found the Gemini chart to give a good fit. However, it would have to be tested with predictions. At that time, I made the following analysis: ----------------------- " Enclosed please find the 6° 41' Gemini rising chart of Hillary Clinton. I don´t know how well established this chart is, but a reading of it suggests it gives a good fit to her life. The Gemini rising chart has many good placements but also some natal weaknesses. Senator Clinton is running Su/Ma period until February 1, 2008 when the Su/Ra period begins. The sub-period lord, L11 Mars, is debilitated in Cancer H2 and is joined there by L9 Saturn in old age. Mars is not weakened further in navamsa chart, being exalted in H2 along with Rahu. It is really helpful that the dispositor of Mars and Saturn, L2 Moon, is favourably placed in H10 MEP. This placement signifies the great status she enjoys in life as former first lady and Senator from the great state of New York, as well as the royal living conditions given the aspect on H4. The status is further helped by L7 Jupiter, representing husband, being placed on H6 MEP, from where it aspects her H2 and H10. The status of her husband further supports her own. The placement of Jupiter also suggests the conflict surrounding and long term reform battles involving her husband as President of the USA. L5 Venus is strongly placed in its own sign Libra H5 along with L3 Sun (debilitated) on H5 MEP and L4 Mercury (weak in old age) in H5. The nodes are in H12 and H6 but do not afflict in the chart. Given the many influneces linked to the planet Mars, its period would be generally OK. However, given the natal weakness, it is liable to transit afflictions. The ongoing transit affliction of Mars in H1 MEP by Rahu in H9 MEP would have been quite difficult for her and resulted in her third place finish in the Iowa caucuses. The Rahu sub-period would not be expected to be that helpful to her as Rahu is badly placed in H12 in the chart and especially after Rahu enters H8 in transit in May of this year.
