Guest guest
Hello listers Even though I have misgivings about the wonderful qualities Mr Munidas ascribe Canada, the many acute afflictions of the chart should have created ... acute problems during Mars dasa. At least. This ruler of 12th mars, exactly afflicts 4th, 9th, the Asc and the 6th house cusps. The period covered was 1957 to 1964. In fact despite slow rise of a separatist movement in Quebec, it was a wealthy and safe period for many in Canada. I would concur that this chart needs to be looked into. All planets are quite weak and many afflicted. Its strange to have quite a comparatively wealthy and peaceful country with close afflictions to 6th MEP, ASC, 9th... Despite this, many wonderful things about Canada are delusory. The health system is not well maintained, people wait for care more than in other western nations. The many immigrants are not well accepted and have to restart their education all over again (in comparison to the US acceptance this is striking) The peaceful nature of Canada and Canadians is more of a front that surfaced during the Pearson administration due to his reputation... just a thought Pierre T Vyas Munidas wrote: > > Dear Thor and List, > > In your opinion, does this natal chart in comparison to other nations, show > the characteristics of: > > 1) a premier world leader > 2) a peaceful and proactive peacekeeper nation > 3) a wealthy nation (per capita, Canada has more millionaires than most > other nations) > 4) easy going attitude of the masses > 5) fantastic relations with other nations > 6) resource rich in precious and semi-metals, diamonds, oil, forestry, > grains > 7) well educated and healthy population > 8) accommodating and welcoming > > For me, it would be a far stretch to justify this chart to be Canada's > natal. > > Best regards, > > Vyas Munidas ___________________________ Envoyez avec Mail. Guest guest
Hi Pierre, Thank you for assessment on the invalidity of the chart. Regarding your views, I agree that there are negatives. - Taxes are very high. - The health care system needs improvement, yet is completely free and turns no one away. - Immigrant employment and fair treatment is a broad topic beyond the scope of this list. There are many sides, but overall the system is built for progress and often gets abused, in my personal experience. Hardships are certainly given to most who immigrate, this is how it's been historically. Regarding your view that Canadians only have a peaceful front, I disagree completely. You may verify this with 1) the relatively small amount spent on the military, 2) lack of emphasis on violent sports, and 3) lack of action when faced with disagreeable legislation. There are others, but these three make the point that Canadians in general are passive.
