Guest guest
Dear friends, Continuing highly volatile, the US stock market rallied powerfully today following the reduction in US interest rates. Several aspects in the SAMVA USA chart are seperating today including: - transit 2nd Lord Sun at 4° 39' in Pisces and 9th house is receiving a separating aspect from natal 6th lord Jupiter at 4° 25' Scorpio and 5th house - transit 6th lord Jupiter at 24° 28' Sagittarius and 6th house is in separating aspect to natal 4th lord Venus at 23° 51' Sagittarius - transit 3rd lord Mercury at 11° 11' Aquarius in the 8th house is in separating opposition to transit 8th lord Saturn at 9° 23' Leo in the 2nd house. - transit 4th lord Venus at 13° 25' Aquarius is also moving out of the aspect of transit Saturn Separating aspects may release pressure, but are still potent to cause harm. On the down side in the SAMVA USA Chart, we can note that transit Venus and Mercury will soon will begin to feel that aspect of natal Ketu at 17° 47' Libra and the 4th house. They will be exactly under this aspect around March 21 and 22, 2008. There could be adverse news concerning the housing market at this time. In late March Mercury enters Pisces its sign of debilitation and the 7th house. While being debilitate is not helpful to its indications, Mercury is expected to do better in the 7th house than the 6th. In early April Venus enters Pisces, its sign of exaltation, and the 7th house. This would be very helpful on the housing front. In mid April the 2nd lord Sun enters Aries and 10th house, its sign of exaltation, which would be helpful for the indications of the 2nd house and the Sun. Transit 10th lord Mars in Gemini and 12th house will briefly come under the exact aspect of natal Ketu in the 4th house around April 3rd, 2008. There could be some setback for the confidence at that time. From around April 21-24, 2008, transit Mars will come under the close opposition aspect with transit Jupiter. This could inflame rivalries. Best wishes, Thor updated 4 minutes ago Fed cuts rate as world markets rebound Story Highlights * U.S. Federal Reserve cuts key interest rate in bid to boost U.S. economy * Europe's main stock markets rebounded; U.S. Dow closes 403.39 points up * Goldman Sachs beats predictions * However, Asian markets showed mixed results the day after stock turmoil (CNN) -- The U.S. Federal Reserve cut a key short-term interest rate by three-quarters of a percentage point Tuesday. Traders on Wall Street eagerly anticipated the Federal Reserve's interest rate announcement. The federal funds rate, an overnight bank lending rate that affects how much interest consumers pay on credit cards, home equity lines of credit and auto loans, was cut to 2.25 percent. Wall Street bounced back strongly ahead of the announcement, and the Dow was about 200 points up as the rate cut came through at 1815 GMT. Reaction to the Fed announcement was initially tepid as investors were betting on a full 1 percent cut. But by the end of the day the Dow had risen another 200 points to close 403.39, or 3.37 percent, up at 12376.
