Guest guest
Dear Sir, I hope u r well now, after the cough and cold problem. I purchased today, Bipin Behari's book - Fundamental's of Vedic Astrology, It's a well written, like ur' book, the content is very informative and shows deeper wisdom. However, Your book covers much much more than this one and u discuss topics like a friend to the readers of the book. Well, I did read about Drekkana, It says each Drekkana is 1/3rd of a sign, so, each sign has 3 Drekkanas. The a question came to mind - What is 22'nd Drekkana, It's much discussed by astrologers. Pls. let us know. Also, may i request you to, do a reading for Mr. Sushil Dixit's father, He posted to exclusively to you. regards,Lalit. Guest guest
Hi Sushil ji, I have read some 50 - 60 pages of " Vedic Astrology - An Integrated Approach - P.V.R.Narsimha Rao " , I didn't enjoy it,So I stopped reading it, His integrated Approach means in one book he gives both Parashaara and Gemini. In fact, that should be called A Mixed Approach not the Integrated Approach. These guys are weak in fundamentals of Vedic Astrology and use so many things to arrive at a conclusion. A book demands authors wisdom, PVR's book suggests while writing that book he was just growing. regards, Lalit. Guest guest
Yes Lalit, Bipin Behari is a true scholar.I had been to his house once. Was alone in a room full of books, busy writing,so deeply engrossed in his work that nothing could disturb him. There were so many books in his room one got the feeling that he was drowned in them.He lives in Yojana vihar quite near to my father's house in Delhi. When i come next time to Delhi i will take you to him.He is a true scholar also in the sense that neither he is hungry for publicity nor money. He is not a professional astrologer and only writes books. However if u request him for some advice he gives it without charging anything.Am however not sure how good he is at predictions,U know one who is good at theory may not necessarily be good at practical.Have read some of his books in part. The content of his book is logical. No chamatkars or anything like that mentioned there.Everything he writes is reasoned out well by him.I would sum him up as a simple and good man who has given his life to writing some good books on astrology. Please remind me when i come next to Delhi so that we can go and meet him.RKlitsol <mishra.lalit wrote: Hi Sushil ji, I have read some 50 - 60 pages of "Vedic Astrology - An Integrated Approach - P.V.R.Narsimha Rao", I didn't enjoy it,So I stopped reading it, His integrated Approach means in one book he gives both Parashaara and Gemini. Guest guest
Lalit it is Dreshkana and not Drekkana as mentioned by you.Yes,it means one third of a sign or ten degrees as the name Dreshkana implies.Dreshkana is one of the sixteen vargas(known as Shodash Varga) considered for determining the strength of a planet.Meaning if the planet is in a favourable Dreshkana it is that much stronger. As told to u already, hardly any literature is available in the ancient vedic astrology classics about the results of such divisional charts. The only thing mentioned is that it relates to brothers and sisters. As for 22nd Dreshkana yes there is some mention about it in various astrology books.According to such books the planet owning the 22nd Dreshkana is supposed to indicate the manner of the native's death. Bejan Daruwala has used dreshkana to give a deeper meaning to Sunsign analysis in his book. His analysis is worth reading.Let us say one is born in the last ten degrees of the western Sunsign Leo;this would mean the Dreshkana of Mars;as a result the leo would have martial bend like being more impulsive, quarrelsome, agressive etc.Hope i have conveyed the idea.Vedic Astrologyandhealing , " litsol " <mishra.lalit wrote: > > > Dear Sir, > > I hope u r well now, after the cough and cold problem. Guest guest
Dear Sir, Yes, He seems a classic writer, His writing is fascinating me, In his book he has a sequence, a flow that never disconnects. I wanted to understand the basics of the basic, like why ketu's conjuction is not supposed so good, where is the point. Sign's has different characteristcs but why? Why God gives people birth in different signs etc... the mysticism behind astrology. His book answers all of this questions, I did read his book whole night and i m happy that i selected a good book. PVR and Sanjay Rath's life seem's to be limited to XXXXXXXXXDivisional Charts and XXXXXXXXPada dashas. I read their articles too and now i doubt if they understand what is astrology ? Perhapse, What they miss is spirituality. They went to rituals and miss the truth of astrology and it's purpose. regards, Lalit.
