Sun in 2nd : A case study by Rup Sir

Dear Sir, I have saved few mails of the older group, I m reposting one

of your's good mail in which u discussed Sun's effect in 2nd house. I

hope this will give insight to our members- Lalit.

Hi friends, You will recall that one of the results of Sun in the

second house which had recently been posted at the group was that

the wealth of the native may be taken away by the king.This reminded

me of someone who has Sun in the second house and whose wealth was

actually taken away by the Govt.The native was born 13th June 1945

at Allahabad.I do not remember the exact time,but the horoscope is

Aeries ascendant with Mars and venus placed therein.Then we have Sun

and mercury in the second house in the sign taurus.Saturn and Raahu

are in the third in gemini,with ketu obviously in the ninth.Moon is

in the 4th in cancer and Jupiter is in the fifth in leo.The native

was a senior Govt official who was raided by the C.B.I. for certain

misdemeanors and his wealth was taken away.Please note here the

position of Sun in the second house of wealth in the inimical

venusian sign taurus.I know some of you may argue that Sun being

lord of the 5th trine should have acted as a benefic here,but this

is what actually happened.I may mention here that the native has

only two daughters and no son.Please note in this context the

position of jupiter in the 5th.I am sure this reminds you of the

famous dictum mentioned in the great ancient vedic astrology

classic 'Bhavarth Ratnakra " ,that the karaka of a bhava spoils the

bhava it is placed in.

 

It is obvious that after the C.B.I. raid,the native lost his

position (he was suspended) and went to prison.This has left me

wondering that with no serious afflictions to the tenth house of

career,how this could have happened.As you will note,4th lord moon

which is in a position of strength being in its own sign cancer,is

aspecting the tenth house of career.This should have given an

exemplary career,since it is said that the aspect of moon makes the

aspected house shine.Even the tenth lord saturn is in the third

house in the friendly sign gemini which cannot be said to be bad. I

may however mention here that in the horoscope of Pandit Jawahar Lal

Nehru also tenth lord is in the third house and an astrology book

which i read many years ago, citing his horoscope as an example had

mentioned that tenth lord in the third house sometimes gives

rajayoga and sometimes bad results.This had been said with reference

to Shri Nehru's life of sometimes being in jail and sometimes Prime

Minister.If one where to see from the moon,one finds that saturn and

raahu are in the 12th house therefrom.This could possibly explain

the jail and the downfall.The tenth from moon contains the

incendiary mars who is also the 8th lord as also the maraka 2nd and

seventh lord venus.Could this explain the serious problems about

career?Some could say no,since mars is lagna lord too and would

never be harmful as it is in its own sign.I may mention here that

the C.B.I. raid on the native took place sometime in mid 2001 when

saturn was transiting taurus,the sign where the natal sun of the

native is placed.

 

So friends as you can see,i am groping in darkness on this matter

and can't really find an answer.Our moderator Raji had asked for an

interesting topic for discussion.Well,i think this is quite

interesting. I would therefore request all members including the

learned Chandra,Ritu ji,Rampriya ji,Mukesh ji to throw light

on the above.Bye
