Resp. Chandrashekhar Ji - Worst 2 Hours of Life

Resp. Chandrashekhar Ji and Guru's of the group,

 

Rup Sir always shared his good as well as bad freely with us, likewise,

i do, I faced worst period of my professional life just 1 hour back.

 

It was from 4:25pm to 6:05 pm, I successfully released new version of

my application, everything was fine, no errors no excptions, my

application has got reputation of nevery going down application in last

2 years, maintained by me singlehandedly, but today it was completely

out of function and i had no clue. it was runing fine in test server

but refusing to run in production server, once it ran, so it was

illogical to see, how without an intereference it has gone down.

 

I reverted the version to previous to previous version just to see,

reverted version is also not functioing.

 

I tried security checking and server configuration all was intact and

in place, mails after mails, i received as the application is very

sensitive and used by 30,000 users.

 

I was asked a time frame when i can get the application up and running,

I was not able to give any time frame as problem was unknown.

 

clueless i was like a dumb just watching it's beyong logic, anyway u

cant loose the ground, u have to ensure ur win always, u can die but

can't loose. I started looking at dependencies which i nver touched,

asked other application owners of developement center, no one did any

change, It was like bleeding after the injuries in an accident.

 

finally, see, we limit ourselves to our part, or look at a defined

known part where a bug may lie, but it may be elsewhere, this liberty

of my thinking pattern helped me, I captured the error message in the

server and with the error no. thrown, i reached to the data table

wherefrom the bug was coming, it was unbelievable coz i and other team

members didn't touch that table.

 

one field was changed from character to numeric and when another

dependent application was validating user's login id, the exception was

firing. u can understand the intricated problem, my release was

perfectly right, other team had no released any new version, still

there was a problem. what happened is, My boss who was going on leaves,

before leaving the place, he made a change in one table and that

created an exception in a different application, which caused problem

to my application and there was only questions fired on me.

 

finally i solved in just 5 - 7 minutes. It's like a bad accident, my

reputation is saved.

 

Astrologically what created such a puzzling problem to me,why i had no

clue about the problem as well as solution, i understand it was only my

rebellious nature that made me solve the bug and i survived.

 

I need to undestand the cause so that i can avoid such a critical

problem in future.

Your dasa running was ketu -sat-sat-merc-merc .

And if u see the all planets r either in 6th house from ur pisces lagna or 8th house showing unfavrable period .

And prana dasa of merc ,the last in this dasa sequence it started this morning and it will finish tomorrow morning.

And when i ran the transit chart at the time of prashna it was aquarius lagna were lagna lord was afflicted in 7th -the sani and lagna was occuppied and aflicted by rahu ,I dont take rahu has any house ownership.And it was in 12th from your lagna pisces.

Hora rising was jup your lagna lord and sub hora was mercury .

u solved the problem when lagna changed and lagna lord jup was aspecting the combination and hora was sun-sun.

Today at the time of trouble all panchanga was controlled by sani and day was budh was wednesday .

Nakshatra was sani ,nithya yoga was sani and pournamy its also ruled by sani .

and day lord in budha

moon was in uthrabhadrappad anu janama nakshatra.

even the sani the subperiod lord is given its navamsa to leo which is 6th from lagna and even day was controllrd by sani in panchanga --the 5 limbs.

i used some some methods which i dont want to discuss ,but i discussed with lalit which includes the nadi techniqs.

Namaskaar, I will study the post seriously, the post shows the

relevance of astrology even in the minute events of daily life too.

 

You have taken 5 thinhgs in to account -

1, dasha upto prana dasha level

2, the tranist

3, panchang's - hora and sub hora (first time i see this to be taken

seriously)

4, transit with reference to native nakschhatra.

5, principle of nari astrology.

 

I will try to visualize all of them togather, may be some direction

to move on is embeded in the posting, may be unknowingly.

Dear Lalit,

 

You were obviously running Ketu- sat-Sun-Ketu-Mercury period at the

relevant time and Mercury being with Kendraadhipati dosha and strong

maraka being the 7th lord, the period of influence of Mercury would

obviously not be good for you. When we look at Mercury in your chart,

it is afflicted by Ketu in the 5th bhava and Mercury is the planet of

discrimination and grasp of a subject. That by itself would not cause

this problem. So the question is what triggered the block? We see that

in transit Mercury goes to your 8th bhava and trines the natal Mercury,

activating the effects of Mercury-ketu combination in the 5th bhava

fully. We also see the 3rd and 8th lord Venus going to the 5th and

causing harm there.Moon the variable one was at that time occupying the

Lagna causing you to be a bit confused about which alternative to

choose to address the problem that, perhaps, coupled with the Prana

parahrase the hierarcical effect of Ketu-sat-Sun-Ketu-Mercury dasha

(360 Savana days).

 

You already know i m weak in understanding the results of a dasha

hierarchy, how it get's filtered as we do down in a given hierarchy.

 

I know it sounds ridiculous but I need to learn it otherwise this

will become a confusion for subsequent years.

Hello Lalit, As I was reading your email , half-way through, I was just telling out loud at my residence that "Hey Lalit, check your database, this could be a issue due to SPs,Triggers or Data tables". It's very common in Application development that the code and data-end sometimes go out of sync. Specially during promotions. May be you should write a script for any database changes and run it on test server . It's always the best approach to script your database updates , even if it is as small as changing one field. Otherwise you will never have a record of what you have done over a period of time. Glad that you are out of the "Pressure-zone" ! I once had a similar problem at work and all I had done was forgotten to write "No Lock" in one of my queries. But , it was fairly easy to trace out the issue as I was able to read my script and

pointed the discrepancy. Best attitude at such a moment is take a deep breath and go step-by-step. Write down your strategy as to what could have caused the issue and go through it. Thank you Chandashekharji, for explaining this issue from astrological perspective. I always enjoy reading your emails and that helps me understand the dimension that I didn't have in my books for years. It's simply great !!! Dear Lalit,

 

I am sure you have read my book and know it but perhaps not

concentrating enough. Look at it this way:

Ketu will give results of both Mercury the graha of grasp and

intelligence and also of Moon the karaka for mind, which is also the

5th lord. Now, Ketu afflicts both Mercury and Moon and could cause some

mistakes in that area in its dasha. At the same time Ketu, by nature

being like mars your 9th and 2nd lord, the results may not be very bad.

Saturn is Lord of the 11th and 12th so the results could be not very

good and since Saturn occupies the 3rd (house of Valour and

communication), that is the area where the bad results could manifest.

Sun is 6th lord so the results may not be good and as it is 6th lord

occupying 6th, the area of results could be in job that 6th represents.

Next level of Ketu, I do not need to explain again and as we come to

Mercury, it lords 4th and 7th bhava and gets kendraadhipati dosha plus

he is also strong Maraka being the 7th lord so the results will not be

good in the bhava occupied which happens to be the 5th which relates to

intelligence and emotion. The transits provided the spark to this

gunpowder. As the period of influence of Mercury was over, you found

the solution.

Dear Sir,

 

That what u have written in this mail is known to me by reading ur

book and speaking to you and by reading other books on Rahu/Ketu, I

have half a dozen books on Rahu - Ketu.

 

But what i m still confused is how to have a clear understanding of

hierarchy of dasha like one planet's dasha within another planet's

dasha, my understaning goes to MahaDasha - Antardasha only as this i

could read in BPHS.

 

So, though u need to spare a little more time to explain result's

being modified as per the hierarchy : Ketu-sat-Sun-Ketu-Mercury.

 

I want to grow my visualization capability, i take it this way, there

are results Ketu is supposed to give in mahadasha(Known to me), then

in Saturn's antardasha, Saturn will give it's own results as well as

it should modify or change some of Mahadasha results specific to his

placement and lordship in my chart, what w'd be the final output upto

this point, next if we apply previous output as input to Prtyantar

Dasha of Ketu again, how are the results upto this point, then again

mercury comes.

 

Is the approach to understand effect in the hierarchy of dasha is

wrong ? what i think one planet doesn't give it's entire results in

it's dasha sometimes, so, what should be reasons.

 

this example Ketu-sat-Sun-Ketu-Mercury will be a live example for

having a clear concept.

Dear Lalit,

You have to factor in the Gochar position of the grahas too, in order

to understand what effect a particular Dasha antardasha Pratyantar

dasha etc. combination will have. Look at the gochar with respect to

lagna at that point of time and you will find affliction to the 5th

bhava in rasi and navamsha. Application of astrological principles is

not based on a formula but has to take in consideration many factors

while trying to find out exactly which of the many factors of a bhava

is going to be the center of some action at a given time. You have only

to apply the principles of dasha interpretation based on the functional

and natural nature of dasha to find out what is likely to happen.
