Kemadruma occurs when no planets (besides Sun & Nodes) are 2nd or 12th

from the Moon. True planets on either side of the Moon help to anchor

the mind and give it focus and direction. So kemadruma means that a

person has a difficult time processing their perceptual information and

assimilating their experience.

It can lead to awkwardness and the inability to respond appropriately to

life. In the extreme, when there are no cancellation factors, and

depending on the strength of the Moon, the person may not be able to

cope with life's difficulties, leading to isolation and destitution.

However, despite the very harsh description of this yoga in the

classical texts, it is a lot more common than you might think. It is

only really bad when there are no cancellation factors and the Moon is

otherwise afflicted (low shadbala, in a dusthana, debilitated, etc.).

One peculiar feature of kemadruma yoga is that it makes person untidy

e.g.- not taking bath in the morning ,wearing clothes in ordinary

manner. In fact, i have seen that such people sometimes get such a face

and physical body that even they r very rich, they don't look so!

Here are the factors that cancel kemadruma - (Need senior's opinion)

1. Planets (not Sun & Nodes) in angles from the Moon. This includes

planets conjunct and opposite Moon, although planets 4th or 10th from

the Moon are better.

2. Planets (not Sun & Nodes) in 2nd or 12th from the Moon's navamsa sign

in the rasi chart. Example: If the Moon's navamsa sign is Libra, than a

planet in Virgo in the rasi chart would help cancel the kemadruma.

3. Moon in an angle from the Langa and aspected by a benefic (use rasi

aspects!).

4. Moon aspected by all five true planets (use rasi aspects!).

5. Any planet (not Nodes but including the Sun) in an angle from the

Lagna.

6. Full Moon!

These cancellation factors are in order of importance.
