Guest guest
Namaskar Lalit, I have been quite busy the past few days.I will add some points quicky for you to think about It will be very difficult for you to make a generalised table for predicting using the Vimshottari Dasha. This is because there are too many variables involved I am listing a few of them: (1)Placement of Dasha Lord from Lagna (2)Nature of Dasha lord (general nature). Then functional malefic/benefic nature is to be considered (3)Diginity of planet in Rasi and Navamsha (4)Avasthas of the planet (5)Aspects it gets (both Graha and Rasi Drishti to be considered) (6)Number of benefic Bindus it gets in Ashtakvarga (7)To add complexity the number of days in a year will change the calculation (I personally prefer 359 days scheme similar to Chandrashekarji) This is just the tip of the iceberg !! In my view,it is a futile exercise.Your time will be better spent if you study more charts (particularly the yogas formed in the chart) This is not to dishearten you at all but just a sincere advice so that you can utilise your time better for Jyotish study Of course, others may have differnt opinions Regards, aavesh litsol <litsol wrote: Dear All,I am trying to come up with a table that simplifies vimsottari dasa analysis.Pls. add your learnings/ views to this so that we can have a more effective analysis RegardsKiran Main period lord sub period lord Results Functional Malefic Functional Malefic SufferingFunctional Benefic Functional Benefic Good resultsFunctional Malefic Functional Benefic Hope/mild good only, Good results only if FB is strongFunctional Benefic Functional Malefic Mild Suffering, Grave Suffering only if Functional malefic is very strong ================================================== In my opinion, it's a very general conclusion, dasha results depends on how planets are placed, aspected, related etc. in one's chart. the results are more specific to charts. regards,Lalit. ==================================================== Now you can chat without downloading messenger. Guest guest
Aavesh Ji, Namaskaar, I m very grateful to you for these pointers, I have collected a lot of study material to study and i think, It's now after 7 months only, i started understanding bit of astrology. I should take another 2 - 3 months to become eliigible to understand one's chart. what helps me is power of intution, earlier, i was not knwing even all the basics, but something used to get flashed in mind, i w'd do write that in the mails and it was coming true. That's not a right approach. regards, Lalit. Guest guest
Lalitji, I also faced same problem as you are facing now. Follow this simple method: 1. Which house does the query pertain to? (e.g: 2nd house = wealth) 2. Who is the house lord? How is he placed? 3. Who is aspecting the house? 4. Who has graha dristhi on the house? Look at sthana bala (own house/enemyhouse/exaltation/debilitation) and benefic/malefic nature.
