Guest guest
Dear Lalit, Did you also mark that at that time the yogakaraka was in the 6th bhava for the chart? So it is only the combinations of the transit and dashas that gave that result. Otherwise the period from 1997 onwards should have been bad if the principle of UK was to be applied blindly. And then here Saturn is weak being afflicted by Rahu so he should have had a great dasha if we go by UK. Take care, Chandrashekhar. litsol wrote: Dear Sir(s), I have seen same thing happening in Venus - Saturn period also, The horoscope, i m posting is once discussed by Chandrashekhar Ji also. Guest guest
Dear Sir, Saturn and Rahu are alike, Rahu has a tendency to achieve the targets out of the way, kind of a negative jupitor in chart, so, a combo like Sat+Rahu or Venus + Rahu should not reduce the good results, rather it should double the saturn's yogakarakatwa, I understand affliction of jupitor, moon, sun, mars's afflictoin by rahu but why saturn and venus too should get afflicted. regards, Lalit. Guest guest
Dear Lalit, In my reply I happened to bypass the real catch in this UK ruling. Even a king gets pauperized in S-V, V-S periods, unless they are ill-placed/ill-disposed. The catch is in " when not happily placed " . There are nuances to broad ruling. Kalidasa devotes two stanzas to this. The testing should be done. Before that we can ask experienced members if they have come across any substantial comments, as different from mere reference to, on S-V, V-S dasa peculiarity. I repeat, mere S-V, V-S operating period will not lead to the dire reversal in fortune. The planetary staus decides this. Now you can proceed to see how Sat and Ven stand, in the horoscope. I'll supply the complete dictum in the next post. Guest guest
Dear Lalit, The nodes express themselves by taking away the luminosity of other planets and rendering them weak. It is an established principle that the nodes will give the results of the planet that they conjoin or the lord of the bhava that they occupy in their own dasha whereas the planet concerned will not give own results fully. Neither Saturn nor Venus are exception to this.
