Guest guest
Namaste Aavesh, Thanks. Chandrashekhar ji accepted me a shishya when I joined SJC but around two and a half years ago due to an unpleasant incident I left SJC and thereafter all groups. I am aged 31,learnt basic lessons in the childhood but I became serious only when I was 22 years old (in Rahu-Jup). I consider my aunty, Dr BV Raman and Chandrashekhar ji my teachers. I'd request you to start the topics, I also want to contribute as much as I can. Instead of quizes and all, which just increase the ego of particular persons, I am interested in these kind of exercises. Guest guest
Dear Aavesh, No, this is not what topics are to be like. A topic would be something like this. Take your first item/topic. You have to say: Is Ju alone in 2nd hse not good for wealth (as laid down by Bhavartha Ratnaakara)? This is re 2nd bhava. There are other bhavas impinging on wealth, though. What you have listed here are whole chapters even bigger constructs. If you are a beginning learner, I can understand. Guest guest
Dear aavesh, Thats true. Not only that the greatness is such, His blessings have kept me alive even when I was away for sometime. I live in UAE, and presently I am in office. since I liked this way of learning I am replying you from office itself. My comments are : Wealth bhava is most important after 1st and 9th. After ayur and basic things are seen, bhagya bhava is to be seen. sarvam vihAya chintyam bhAgyarksham praNInAm viSEshENa. I dont know sanskrit much but I byheart dictums because they strike you at the appropriate time. Bhagya bhava is very important here. Then karma bhava and since anything on this earth is not possible without wealth, wealth bhava becomes important thereafter... The only thing I can add in this elementary part is when I learnt classics, I saw they giving first importance to ativasuma yoga. so benefics in these places (pt 1, 3,6,10,11) is yoga par excellence. They overtake anyother daridra yoga in the chart, is what classics say. Now we can take up charts, and I also will add a few charts in my possession. Guest guest
2H is the house of wealth. IF 2H lord is in the 11th house we can predict " gain of wealth " - This will depend on the placement of 2H lord (sthana bala by way of exaltation, own house, friend's house) - which will make the significations of the 2H lord stronger - as also aspects by benefics and conjunction with benefics All in all it depends on the position of the 2H lord. If well placed in a good house (not the 12H for sure as it represents loss) As aaveshji said 5H is the house of speculation and 5H Lord can give gains from speculation in 11H. Reverse for 5H lord in 12 H. 8H is the house of unearned wealth. It is said that any house increases significations of the house prior to it and going by this logic, 3H is also the house of wealth. I am a learner in astrology and request gurujis like aaveshji, chandrashekarji to modify my post Vedic Astrologyandhealing , aavesh t <aavesh_s wrote: > > Dear Saaji, > > Thanks for your introduction. > > You are fortunate that you have learnt Jyotish from Chandrashekarji (a real master in Jyotish Vidya) > > I will start of the discussions with the following topic: > > STUDY OF WEALTH PROSPECTS IN A CHART > > Study of wealth prospects is one of the important areas of Jyotish particularly in the present times when there is so much disparity in incomes (Software engineers in organisations like Oracle are earning upwards of Rs 75 K a month wheras engineers in small scale industries make this salary in 1 year (with great difficulty) > > The following factors need to be considered to study wealth from a chart: > > (i)Consider the 'Artha Trikona'.These are the 2nd,6th and 10th houses. The lords of these houses and the planets posited there have to be studied and strengths noted > > (ii)2nd house shows readily available cash wheras 11th denotes gains from various sources > > (iii)5th house shows gains from speculation such as lotteries > > (iv)8th house shows gain of wealth from legacies, insurance etc > > (v)The strength of benefics and malefics has to be considered,Benefics in strength gives wealth with ease malefics with a certain amount of difficulty > > To illustrate the above points we can take up a chart for study. > > The best chart in my opinion would be the chart of Bill Gates > > I will continue after your comments on the above. > > Regards, > aavesh > > > > Saaji Bhaskaran <saajik wrote: > Namaste Aavesh, > > Thanks. Guest guest
Why not quizzes? the joy of astrology is in being able to predict......Astrology is of use only if we can predict the future. I believe it is possible to predict the future of a person as well tell unknown things about his/her chart by applying basic astrological principles. Only when we apply our principles to predict, will we learn astrology Vedic Astrologyandhealing , " Saaji Bhaskaran " <saajik wrote: > > Namaste Aavesh, > > Thanks. Guest guest
Dear Kiran, I agree with u in the essence but not in the form. Astrology has great scope, more so with able persons who by knowledge and experience and by guru's grace able to perfectly use it to the fullest possible extent. I see the quizes in two ways. And I want to have a word about those quizes for which a particular time is given and we are asked to predict what it was. If you see, these kind of excercise depends more on exact birth time and in most cases there are equal chances for more than one event and getting it right is only luck. And as I have seen the more experienced & knowledgeable persons seldom take part in these and evenif they takepart get it correct. Its to some extent because of the time and effort required. So I like quizes which are more like which pratyantar dasa the person gets married like way. now when they try to find out when they get married, they dont go into details of how he/she's, their profession, background etc; Isnt this more important? I belong to that school of thought where astrologers say a time gap of +/- 3 months are ok in a particular events prediction. So far, no one asked me to predict the exact date on whcih he/she gets married, and I give a period of 3-6 months when I predict marriage, only in a few cases I could reduce it in lesser timegap, but alongwith this I do other predictions. Its takes much lesser time. but I have a good percentage of correct predictions in this regard (not in the groups, but among freinds/colleagues) It all depends on how one looks on astrology. for me its self satisfaction and to some extent my beloved people's satisfaction. For the first I like to read classics and for the 2nd I apply the methods and try to help people. I agree with you that there are many great astrologers in many forums and they come out with great predictions in quizes. But as I told you my way of looking on this is different and at the end of the day its all self satisfaction :-) Incase you all takepart in this excercise I also will contribute as much as I can. Otherwise as you know there are so many things to do and as I used to do I'll be happy reading your mails and say it a day! ......:-) Best regards, Saaji Bhaskaran Vedic Astrologyandhealing , " kiran.rama " <kiran.rama wrote: > > Why not quizzes? > the joy of astrology is in being able to predict......Astrology is of > use only if we can predict the future. > > I believe it is possible to predict the future of a person as well > tell unknown things about his/her chart by applying basic astrological > principles. > > Only when we apply our principles to predict, will we learn astrology > > Vedic Astrologyandhealing , " Saaji Bhaskaran " > <saajik@> wrote: > > > > Namaste Aavesh, > > > > Thanks. Guest guest
Dear Kiran, Nice to hear this. These are the wealth giving combinations, and I want to talk about some exceptions here. One member wanted us to take out one combination, and I want to stress its not practical to do so. I can remember 3 charts with 2nd lord in 11th. 2 have good income but the 3rd is moderate. The 3rd has Lagna+2nd lord in 11th, its Mercury so 11th lord in 11th also. The books I read used to give greater importance to this combination, but I seldom see this combination in great earners charts. another point is 2nd lord's. I have seen charts where 2nd lord is strong or 2nd house is strong but still earn moderately. I have 2nd lord in 6th afflicted but I am earning very well. I was in a very perplexed situation when I first studied these charts. It was then I understood to note all combinations, all from Lagna as well as Moon and see dasa also in predictions.A person who's a graduate with this combination maynot be earning well as a professional with this combination. A person abroad may be earning still better. So when we study wealth as I said in my first mail, we are learning on other things like education and luck tooo.... If you can come with charts, we can study it in detail. Best regards, Saaji Bhaskaran Vedic Astrologyandhealing , " kiran.rama " <kiran.rama wrote: > > 2H is the house of wealth.
