U pls. think who took me to Visharakh today only, just in one day of

discussion with no effort, There are definitely more than what we

human being can think of with their small understanding, People may

Dear Lalit, Nice to get your mail. It is nice to know that you have read a few chapters of the 'Kriyoddish Tantra'.Let me clear a few points: (i)The Kriyoddish Tantra is a complex book.I agree that quite a few practices mentioned in it are pertaining to the 'Vammarg' as opposed to the Dakshinmarg school of Tantra.However,these are two opposing schools of Tantra and they have to be taken as such (ii)Regarding Ravana fixing the Muhurta for the war, you can hear the story from the elders in your family or elders in Rewa (Rewa is rich with folklore pertaining to the Ramayana which you must be aware) (iii)I would like to make a small point: You tend to be extremely biased when judging mythological figures.In the Ramayana there is a lot of symbolism which has to be understood In Ravana's case he was a great Pandit who got carried away by the beauty of Sita.He therefore kidnapped her and held her captive in the

'Ashok Vatika'.Inspite of the advice given by his wife Mandodri he did not release Sita Devi from captivity The important point is that not once did he touch Sita Devi during her captivity (Sita had a boon that whoever even looked at her with sexual intent would be reduced to ashes).This shows the kind of Siddhi which Ravana possesed The central point of this anectode is that even a Mahapurush like Ravana could come under the spell of Kamadeva and lose his mental balance acquired after years of prayer to Lord Shiva !! .
