Dear Sunil,

 

many thanks for your wonderful replies. I thought it will be better to ask you on the forum as it will help me and others like me. Plus I can also have input of other Gurujan's also. Now coming to questions.

 

I was reading about How avastha of a planet can effect on the results of the promise made in horoscope. I found there are many classifications about avastha's like age wise Infant-youth-dead, then depending on awakening like awake-dreaming-sleeping. then there Other Kinds of States. There are nine kinds of other Avasthas, viz. Dipt, Swasth, Pramudit, Shanta, Din, Vikal, Duhkhit, Khal and Kop.

 

then there are Yet other Avasthas. Lajjit, Garvit, Kshudhit, Trushit, Mudit and Kshobhit .

 

My question is a planet may in one group be good and the other group it bad . How to interpret.

 

e.g.

 

Same planet may be infant or dead but awake and could be dipt or shant or kop.

dear kamal ji .

In such cases u hav to balnce the max with good points with bad points .

say sun in aries its in ucharasi so in deeptavasta ,if in begining degree is like a new born child ,if in last degree its mritavasta in the middle is prouda vasta

And then there is this other avasta also amsas parijatha,airavathamsa like this

also snanam to tamboola charvanam to stree sambhogam( which is used in nadis )

so we need to gauge it properly

 

Think abt our own life even good dasas given may be great pains and bad or not so good dasa we may be even contented ,it all depends on various avastas ,

 

but in general we go by lord hsips and strenghts and aspects .to predict

 

day to day account is not our head ache

 

if u see and watch ur own ,or near ones good and bad dasa u can understand it .its more holistic in approach .Now ppl thinks u made money its good dasa .

I know one guru of this forum in leo sun dasa (lagna lord ) had biggest problems in his life ( professional ) and all astrologers without taking sun in 0.some degree told him this will be best dasa ,But he relieved only when that dasa was over .
