Dear Mr. Kamal, There was a query raised by you, so, I thought to

collect the information

 

There are 3 types of Gandanta -

 

a.) Nakschhatra Gandaanta b.) Tithi Gandaanta c.) Rasi Gandanaata

 

The last 5 ghatis of Asvini, Revati form the Nakschhatra Gandanta. Same

way, for the pairs of Aslesa and Megha and Jyestha and Mula.

 

The Tithi Gandanta - The last 2 ghatis of the 5'th, 10'th,15'th and

30'th lunar days with 2 ghatis of day next to them makes a thithi

gandanta.

 

The Rasi Gandaanta - the last 1/2 ghati of Ascendants, Cancer, Scorpio,

and Pisces and the initial 1/2 ghatis of Aries, Leo and Sagittarius.

 

The Risky years of Gandaanta -

 

1. 16 yrs - Asvini

2. 8 yrs - Magha.

3. 1 yr - Jyestha

4. 4 yr - Chitra and Mula

5. 2 yrs - Aslesa

6. 1 yr - Revati

7. 2 mnths - Uttarphalguni

8. 3 mnths - Pusya.

9. 9 mnths - PurvaSadha (Risk to father)

10. 12 yrs - Hasta.

 

Exception :

The dosha will be harmful only if the lunar month of birth is Jyestha,

Asadha , Margsirsha, Pusha and Magha.

 

Othere troubles : The 5'th house from the lagna gives trouble to

relatives -

 

Sun - Father

Moon - The Mother,

Mars - siblings,

Mercury - Maternal Uncle,

Jupitor - Maternal Grandfather

Venus - Mother's sister.

Saturn/Rahu/Ketu - Child itself.

 

Other Doshas -

Dinamrityu - First part (pada) of Dhanistha and Hasta and 2nd of Visakha

and Ardra, 3rd of Uttrabhadra and Aslesa and 4'th of Bharani and Mula ,

If a birth takes place in daytime of these stars, DinaMritu dosha

happens, This is harmful to child irrespective of planets in horoscope.

But the birth is night, No harm for child.

 

Dinaroga - 1st part (pada) of Aslesa and uttarbhadrapada, 2nd of Bharani

and Mula, 3rd of Uttaraphalguni and Sravana and the last of Svati and

Mrigsira.

 

But i have no experience with me to tell u about the results, elders and

seniors will have seen the effect of such dosha.

Dear Many thanks. There is also mention of similar evil in Yoga also ( Sun Degree and Lumar degree) some of them are taken as evil and some upaya need to be done. I my horscope there is Ganda. Pl enlighten
