Bhrigu Sutram Ch 6 If Venus in the twelfth house is associated with a benefic the native will be very wealthy, will have all comforts of bed (sexual pleasures) and will go to heaven after death. Bhrigu Sutram Ch 7 If Saturn in the twelfth house is associated with a benefic the native will be happy, will have good eyesight and will go to heaven after death. Bhrigu Sutram Ch 8 31-32. If Rahu or Ketu are in the twelfth house, the native will have few children and suffer from eye troubles. He will go to hell after death. Brihat Jataka Ch 25 15. If there be no planets in the 6th, 7th, and 8th houses, then look to the Decanates of the 6th and the 8th houses at the moment of birth (from the rising Decanate) and find out the most powerful of the rulers of these Decanates. The person will go after death to the world indicated by this powerful planet. If there be planets in the 6th, 7th and 8th houses, then find out which is the most powerful and the person will go to the world of this most powerful planet. Again if Jupiter occupy the 6th house or one of the angular houses or the 8th house and be also exalted, or if the sign Meena be rising, Jupiter occupy it and be in the Navamsha of a benefic planet, while the other planets are powerless, the person will obtain final release (Moksha) after death. If there happens to be a benefic graha in exaltation or in own bhava in the 12th from Karakamsh or if Ketu is so placed and receives a drishti from or is yuti with a benefic one will attain heaven after death. BPHS Ch 44 43-45. Ascent after Death: According to the following grahas in Vyaya, Yuvati, Ari, or Randhra Bhava, the native will attain one of the different worlds after death: Guru – Heaven Chandra or Shukra – the world of manes Mangal or Surya – earth / rebirth Budh / shani - hell JS Ch1 68. If a benefic is in the twelfth from Karakamsa, the native enters an auspicious world after death. JS Ch 4 39. If the third from deha has a benefic conjunction or aspect, the child will have final emancipation after death. Phaladipika Ch 14 Some impute it to the nature of the Sign of the 12th house, i.e., heaven after death for Sirshodaya signs. It will be hell after death if a Prishtodaya sign is in the 12th house. When Venus is associated with the lord of the 12th, or occupying the 12th house or the Navamsha of the same house the abode after death is When Mars is associated with the lord of the 12th, or occupying the 12th house or the Navamsha of the same house the abode after death is the Earth. When Mercury is associated with the lord of the 12th, or occupying the 12th house or the Navamsha of the same house the abode after death is Vaikunta. Sanketa Nidhi Ch 4 The native attains salvation after death with the following combinations: (I) If the lords of Ascendant 9th and 8th houses possess adequate strength and aspect their own houses. (II) If benefics be posited in the 9th and there be no malefic influence on this house Sarvartha Chintamani Ch 13 17. If the lord of the 12th house is in the Navamsha of a malefic planet, in a malefic sign, with a malefic planet & is aspected by a malefic planet, the native goes to hell after death. 18. If the 12th house is occupied by Rahu & Mandi & is aspected by the lord of the 8th or the 6th house, the man goes to hell after death. 19. Salvation: If the lord of the 12th house and the ascendant be in their parama uchcha point and if the twelfth house contains benefics, he will attain salvation after death. If there be only ashubha yoga, he will fall into hell after death. 6. If there be misra yoga under the above combination, i.e., both malefics and benefics are placed in the 12th house but the lords of the first and the twelfth are in their highest exaltation points, the native will enter heaven. But if there is only malefic yoga, he will fall into hell after death. + + + + + Best regards, Saaji Bhaskaran
