4. ROHINI

Rohini - ruled by Moon. 40'00" to 53'20"(10'00" to 23'20" Taurus). The quarters are ruled by Mars, Venus, Mercury and Moon. The motivation is Moksha. Male. Serpent. Symbol - A chariot. Deity - Brahma. Dosha-Kapha.

This is the fourth nakshatra of zodiac, ruled by the planet Moon. It spreads from 10°-0' in Vrishabha to 23°-20' in Vrishabha. Moon, the lord of this nakshatra and Venus, the lord of Vrishabha, though belong to the opposite camps of planets, they complement many of each other's qualities for a person born in this nakshatra. As a result, while Venus makes these people beautiful with an artistic mind, the Moon endows them with gentle, dignified manners. Vrishabha also happens to be the exalted sign of Moon. It is said that even a beggar born on this nakshatra will have a dignified appearance. Eyes of the people born in this nakshatra are especially attractive.
