Dear Lalit,

Whenever a particular movement starts getting commercial these sort of these things occur.This is what happened to the TM movement after the Beatles joined in !!

As students of Jyotish,we should be balanced in our approach and nonjudgemental until we look at things wholistically

The best way to find out the level of spirituality of a person (in case it is not possible to meet him) is his birthchart

Why not have a look at the chart of Mahesh Yogi and get a wholistic result ??

(His chelas are nowhere in line with his caliber,so let us leave these clowns from this exercise) !!
