Guest guest
Daer Sir, Namaskaar, I m sure and source of my information abt Sri Ramkrishna's taking up Islam for a small period is only Sri RamkKrishna Leelamrit and SriRamkrishna Charitamrit, one is published by Sri Ramkrishna Mission and the other one is written by Roma Rola (dont know how to correctly spell his name) I have studied 4 - 5 biographies of Paramhansha, it's given everywhere, it was Thakur, who told Vivekanada that Juesu's nose was not straight, when Viekanada went to west, in one of the library he got a pic drawn by hand like protrait, Jesus nose was like that only. Maata Aannada Mai had not taken Sanyas or Vanaprasthashrama, she had no Guru also in real sense, (m not sure), She did not follow her grihasta dharam and even her husband for 8 years turned like her sishya, who was enough elder to her. Once maa happened to know she is a soul like God and then never looked back to worldly affairs. regards, Lalit. Guest guest
Dear Aavesh Sir, Thanks very much for ur greetings on mahashivratri, You have made us correct, Yes, Thakur was a sadhaka and tried islamic ways of sadhana to realize the God. But while looking to chart, for the astrology sake, we should accept that Saturn/Rahu in 9'th causes one to have deep interest in a different dharma. I have seen it in 3 horoscopes, this way we can find a clue to conversions through the horoscopes, I think if Guru in 12'th house, one gets urge to criticize his own religion depending upon other combos. Aavsh Sir, I want u to express ur views on what Sri P.S Ramnarain Ji has stated for exaltation giving Sun's example. I think there is a lot to learn and consider, particularly, the shashtaynsha thing. regards, Lalit. Guest guest
Dear aavesh ji, Happy Shivaratri to you too. I did vrata yesterday, I mean for me, Shivaratri was yesterday. Thank you. I didnt say Sri Ramakrishna * converted * to Islam. I said " gone through Islam " , which I meant same. Conversion is for those who keep religion a trade. When God is only one, one is free to worship any one or mulitple ways and at the end of the day what matters is whether one can progress in it. This is my view, to put in short. Guest guest
Dear Lalit, There are two more versions in purAnA. One is its the night which Lord Shiva swallowed kaalakuda poison. In such a condition, one shouldnot have dinner nor one should sleep. 2nd one is when Lord Brahma and Lord Vishnu fought, Lord Shiva asked them to find the end of shiva linga which they couldn't. In this purpose Shivaratri is celebrated. There are many stories related to Shivaratri vrata and how it gave even a Dog moksha. Once on a shivaratri day a dog didnt get anythign to eat, finally reached a shiva temple when everyone was fasting and sleepless. It was past midnight, when the Dog entered the temple and tried to snatch the bananas which kept for as offering for Lord shiva. But before that people saw this and came to beat the Dog. The Dog unknwoingly run around the temple 7 times. And at the end they all beat up the dog and he died. The moment he died, shiva dutas reached there to take him to shiva loka. Reason, he took shiva ratri vrata atleast once, offered prayer in shiva temple and didnt sleep on shiva ratri day. There are many more of this in Purana on shiva ratri mahatmya, which you should read. Best regards, Saaji Bhaskaran Vedic Astrologyandhealing , " litsol " <mishra.lalit wrote: > > Hi Saji, > > And I have not done Vrata, It's the wedding anniversary of Maa > Parvati and her Love the Shiva, it's time to be happy and celebrate, > to Njoy to get exalted... > > I m happy too...., Aum Namah Shivaya !!! Guest guest
Dear Saaji, I doubt that he converted to Islam. Let us see if Lalit has some other information. As to finding that it is possible to find god through Islam, that is natural as no body has monopoly over the Lord who is omnipotent and omnipresent in different forms according to what the devotee wants to see him. Take care, Chandrashekhar. Guest guest
Dear Lalit, Did he convert to Islam? If so, when did he reconvert to Hinduism? Will you find out. His learning what is Islam etc. does not mean giving up dharma. Guest guest
Dear Sir, There is no point in unnecessarily stretching words, Thakur Paramhansha, was initiated into Islam by a Fakir and when he got the divine experience through Islam, he came back to his own religion, he was not limited to " Learning " , that time when he was into Islam, he didnt do even Kali Puja. Whole story is given in all good bio- graphies. It's a hard core fact, there is no room for any confusion, As our focus is astrology, we should try to find it out in his horoscope, and It's not only thakur's horoscope, I have seen same kind of influence in other's horoscope too if Sani/Rahu is placed in 9'th, how effective it is, depends on other planets in the horoscope. regards, Lalit. Guest guest
Sunil Ji, Something is believed without digging into and testing it, what's the base to declare that a sampradayaa is ruled by this or that planet. Shankaracharya alone has floated dozens of sampradayaas, it seems somebody in later age has given this idea of planet's ruling sampradaays. Pravarjya can be there but i was discussing about reaching the God, If Jupitor is not involved, nobody can reach the God, I mean if u try to look it into horoscope. regards, Lalit. Guest guest
Sunil Ji, Namaskaar, I m sorry to say, Your study is partial, let's take it this way : Aadi Shankara made - Giri, Puri, Teertha , Ashram, Saraswati, Dandi .. etc, Todya i dont remember all as i studied about them early, some 12 - 15 yrs back, Nath and Naga were started by their influential Gurus, in addition to that, south india has got some exclusive Nainaars,Alwars,Jangams, then there are Shaiva,VirShaiva,Lingayat, Kaulas, Shaktas and then Vaishnavas, then there are other tantrik cults. Now we have our input data with us, can u tell our members what planet rules what and how the conclusion is reached upon. Why you all elders dont accept, you dont know each and everything, even there is no base available to identify a sect with the help of astrology, if some people have done efforts, we should recognise them with respect, but pls. dont say that astrology has got reference of these sampradayas since Parashara, Parashara was in Dwapar and for Aadi Shankara it's hardly 1200 yrs. I admit tht BPHS says about Pravajya Yogas, but We were discussing How through the astrology we can recognise one has attained at self realization with God or Not. It's a myth that Saturn can take one to God, No Sir, it cant, saturn can reduce one to ashes, the renunciation part, Do u think, a renunciation takes one to God ? what to renunciate ? how to renunicate, there is all pervading god, where u will go by renunciation, to understand this, saturn's domain has to be crossed over, saturn puts u to a foundry only but If Jupitor is not there one fells in love with this foundry, his mind in that life will not get the lite of widom, like a robot trained to remove cloths, but he will remove cloths but how to wear the cloths. renunciation or indulgance is one and same thing, no difference from spirituality point of view. It was jupitor in 5'th house of Thakur that brought him back to the track and took to the height of sadhana, 5'th is the place of doing sadhana, 9'th is the faith, dharma, morality, preceptor etc.., eighth is the figment of imagination of today's astrologers, world have not seen any real individual who has ever atained self realization with the help of 8'th house alone, having interest in making an open thing secretive has no significance at all, this is what 8'th house does, the person will make great fuss about insignificant things. Let's stop giving undue importance to 8'th house for God's vision or Bhakti. unless one lands on the moon, he cant know what happens there, As i have seen the God, I know what are the states of the mind, what are the prerequisites, therefore, I know what people are missing. Let's redifine and restablish some of things which are misleading us. regards, Lalit. Guest guest
Dear Lalit, I am not stretching words. The fact remains that he did not convert to Islam. If we want to understand the astrological significance of his trying to explore occult practices of other religion, we should know the time this happened and then find out whether the dashas and Gochar at that time points to Shani in the 9th. Otherwise it must remain a speculation. Chandrashekhar. litsol wrote: Dear Sir, There is no point in unnecessarily stretching words, Thakur Paramhansha, was initiated into Islam by a Fakir and when he got the divine experience through Islam, he came back to his own religion, he was not limited to "Learning", that time when he was into Islam, he didnt do even Kali Puja. Guest guest
dear Mr. lalith, I do get to know abt other religions either thro interaction with people in those religion or thro the net. Probably this may be prevalent in most of the individuals who do have faith in religion irrespective of the placement of saturn in 9th. I jus belong to this category with no inclination to change my religious faith from my religion to Buddhism or jainism or christianity. during my 30's a dentist who has converted to christian explained to me as to why he converted to christian. one reason he attributed was that as a hindu he has cheated which GOd has not corrected him. But in christianity he can go and confess to god and that god absolves him of his sin and this gives him a sense of confidence not to commit such sins. whereas in our religion everything is attributed to karma, ie if a man suffers it is his karma. so complicated are our religious strictures. at that point of time i was convinced with his reason for his conversion. I strongly feel that jus placement of saturn in 9th alone will not be the reason to change any individual to change their religion. U will have to see the 2nd house which is the house of family, placement of kethu, in particular when it is associated with moon. Because moon controls the mind. good luck k.gopu ______________________________\ ____ Looking for last minute shopping deals?
