Guest guest
Untitled Document हरे राम कृषà¥à¤£à¥¥ Dear Anuj and Swee, Namaskar Sanjayji is likely to be unavailable for the next few weeks, but i'm sure he will give a word or two once he is available. I was born 21st November 1981 at 6:08 AM, Nairobi, Kenya. In the case of PV Narasimha Rao who wore a coral, Mars is the WORST enemy of his lagnesh Mercury according to the Panchada Sambandha (tatkalika+naisargika). So the logic of friendship/enmity didn't work here. Further Mars is lord of third and eighth houses for Virgo lagna. He was born: Rao, P.V. Narasimha Date:         June 28, 1921 Time:         12:49:00 pm Time Zone:    5:16:36 (East of GMT) Place:        79 E 09' 00", 18 N 26' 00" Point is that we cannot take the lordship blindly. We must also see planetary yogas as well. If the lord of a bhava is in a parivartana or yuti with another planet, it will give the results of the other planet when its gemstone is worn. Example: Say for Aries Lagna Jupiter is in the sixth house and Mercury is in the ninth - Parivartana Yoga exists between them. If a Yellow Sapphire is worn for Jupiter, this will result in enmity, diseases, etc. But, if an emerald is worn it will give fortune and auspicious direction. Now take the case of P.V. Narasimha Rao: Mars, Sun and Mercury are joined in the tenth house in Gemini. Mercury is the lagnesh forming a Bhadra Mahapurusha Yoga, whilst Sun and Mars are forming a Vipareeta Raja Yoga through their conjunction as they are 12th, 3rd and 8th lords in conjunction. To protect and enhance the lagna we need to strengthen Mercury. But, due to the yuti the wearing of the Emerald will enhance the effects of Sun and Mars. So we need to advise either Sun or Mars. Of these Mars is the most malefic and will exchange results with Mercury, hence, he was advised to wear a Coral. This principle will not work with the 2 latter types of sambandha namely samdristi and dristi-parivartana, which are temporary in nature. In my case, Rahu is in the 9th with Venus for Mithuna Lagna. Jupiter is in 5th house aspected by Mars (10th), Rahu (9th) and Saturn (11th house). Though I have many gemstones with me, I cannot wear Yellow Sapphire or Citrine. Major problems start almost immediately. I usually take white sapphire for Venus and it is likely to strengthen the Rasis Taurus and Libra, instead of Pisces, apart from the graha itself. Can you pass on your birth details if you do not mind? My point is when a graha is a functional malefic and an enemy of Lagna lord, should we wear its gemstone? My thoughts and experience tells - No. Now, when I read your mail regarding Blue sapphire for uplifting Saturn for Aries lagna, I get this doubt. I am passing this message to Sohamsa as well as to Sri Swee.. and let us see what all have to say on this matter. I'd really like to hear Sanjayji's comments too. Hope he isn't busy. I have Scorpio Lagna and Rahu is placed in the ninth house. Jupiter is joined Mercury in the eighth. Initially i wore substitute stones for Jupiter. I.e. Yellow Citrine and then a Heliodore... never a topaz though. After wearing my first gemstone i spent the next 2-3 years traveling around the world and learning Jyotish. Prior to this i had made some 'blunders' in my education and was left somewhat stuck in this matter. I subsequently began formal studies again. Recently i began wearing a white sapphire (white for Pisces) and whilst I'm happy with the effects, I'm also uncomfortable with some flaws in the actual gem. I blame this on my recent inability to pursue some traveling, but lets see. Or point out a relevant article in Jyotish digest pointing out the same. If you remember, in a last thread when Yellow Sapphire was suggested for Rahu in Ninth, I had specified that Yellow Sapphire just does not suit me and causes many problems. I also like Sri Sanjay Rathji to comment upon the same and share his thoughts too. Btw. the mantra is normally pronounced: Om Gurave Namah| I must ask, who is sushma gupta which your email id had written in it? o Pratama prasna The wearing of a blue sapphire is to make Capricorn more prominent, and thus cause the exaltation of Mars. Similarly for Venus in own sign in sixth/eighth we advise Yellow Sapphire to exalted Venus, and make Pisces more prominent. o Dvitiiya prasna When a kendra lord is a malefic its effects can become very auspicious in a dusthana house and form a vipareet raja yoga. This is not so for benefics. For example: Saturn in twelfth for Vrishabha lagna is an excellent Vipareet Raja Yoga, but Venus in twelfth for Capricorn lagna definitely isn't.... unless the person travels abroad. This follows the general principle that malefics are auspicious in dusthanas, whilst benefics are auspicious in trikonas. That way Mars in twelfth for Leo lagna can prove to be a powerful raja yoga, but jealousy from others may remain due to its aspect on the sixth house from lagna. o Tritiiya prasna There could be various reasons to advise a gemstone for the ninth house. If rahu is joined the ninth house or lord, or aspecting, then no doubt a yellow sapphire should be worn... no matter the position of Jupiter. In fact, if such a gemstone is not advised the luck of the person simply won't start. Instead the person will be running in circles. Now, if in a case the lord of the ninth house lords an inauspicious house, and is ALSO placed in it, we have a problem. Example: for Aries lagna, Jupiter in twelfth can cause separation from father, as it is also ninth lord. In such cases only advise the gemstone if absolutely necessary to avoid a greater evil (rahu, saturn, etc). It cleared a lot of doubts.  I have a couple of Qns: 1.      Prescription of Blue sapphire : You mention for : - Aries/Scorpio Ascendant if Mars is in 8H/6H OR - Taurus/Libra Ascendant if Ve in (6H/8H) recommend Blue sapphire.  a.      However Aries is sign of debilitation of Saturn, moreover it is also a Badhakesh. Is Blue sapphire still recommended?  b.      Also Taurus/Libra Asc what if Saturn is placed in bad house like 6H or 8H. e.g. - Taurus asc – Venus and Saturn (exalted in 6H) in Libra, Is Blue sapphire still recommended? 2.      Strengthening 9th Lord: Is it advisable to strengthen 9th Lord if it alongside owns one of the malefic houses - 3,6,8,11,12? e.g. - Aries  Asc Ju lords (9,12) houses        Cancer Asc Ju lords (6,9) houses  Let me know when you get a moment.  Warm regards, Pranav   Cheap Talk?
