Planetary Transits for July 26 – August 1

Sun transits Cancer, from 08:54 to 15:35°. Sun is under the aspect of Jupiter, July 28 – August 6. Taurus, Cancer, and Capricorn rising signs should be careful and patient.

Moon transits Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, and Aquarius. The full Moon (GURU PURNIMA) is on July 29 at 6:47:37 p.m. CDT, (11:47:37 p.m. GMT).

Mercury transits out of its own sign, Gemini, and into Cancer, August 1.

Mars transits out of its own sign, Aries, and into Taurus, July 28, and is weak until August 5. Mars is under the aspect of Saturn until August 10. (Property, military, and police are vulnerable.) Cancer, Virgo, and Pisces should be careful and patient.

Venus transits Leo, from 08:56 to 08:23°. Venus is retrograde July 27 – September 8.

Jupiter transits Scorpio, from 16:10 to 16:00°. Jupiter is outside the orb of influence of other planets, and is retrograde until August 6.

Saturn recently completed its two-year transit in Cancer and now transits Leo, from 01:12 to 02:04°. Saturn remains in Leo for the next 26 months. Saturn is weak until Aug. 25, and then there is significant relief for: Leo (partners and relationships), Sagittarius (entrepreneurial activities), and Aquarius (health, disputes, and finances).

Rahu and Ketu transit Aquarius and Leo, respectively, from 13:37 to 13:15°. Rahu and Ketu remain in the 13-degree range July 13 -- Sept. 16. Persons with rising signs in the 13-degree range, and those with planets in odd signs in the 13-degree range, should be careful and patient.

TRANSITS FOR EACH “RISING SIGN” (Not “Sun sign”):

Aries: Take it easy and stay rested through August 4. Focus on royal home life and property. Your children may be at home. Invest in marriage and partnerships. Expect investment gains starting late August. Avoid disputes and be careful with communications and entrepreneurial activities.

Taurus: Pursue ambition and entrepreneurial activities. There may be prosperity through your children, education and investments. Avoid conflict at home or over property. Create a spiritual space in your home. Work on or in your home for the next two years.

Gemini: There is status through your own efforts and family life. Speak with authority and with authority figures. Invest in education and entrepreneurial activities. Income and friendships may be weak until late Sept. Avoid partnership conflicts. Focus on business and communications.

Cancer: Be easy with your career through Aug. 4. Family life contributes to your well being. Rise high and take a leadership position. Parents and property also contribute to your status. There may be losses or expenses. Explore foreign ventures.

Leo: Rest, spiritual retreats, long distant travel, losses and expenses are likely through mid-August. Hospitals or confinement is also possible. Gain through your own status, family life, writing, business and communications. Exercise patience with entrepreneurial opportunities.

Virgo: Focus on your career and professional life. Consider writing, business and communications. There may be expenses or separations with family life, or gains from long distant ventures. Keep a lot of attention on property matters and entrepreneurial activities through November.

Libra: Focus on your career, income, and friendships. Take a leadership position and gain through authority figures. Partnerships are vulnerable through late Sept. Your own efforts contribute to your status through November. Expect gains after August.

Scorpio: There is a mix in your career, ranging from good fortune to losses and expenses. Long distant travel or ventures are possible. Be patient. Teach, publish, and advise. Health and finances are vulnerable through Aug. 4. You have luck for the next 16 months.

Sagittarius: Focus on partnerships. Spend time with your family and take care of your children and investments. There may be setbacks with authority figures. Income and friendships are vulnerable through mid-August. Expect success over the next seven years.

Capricorn: Be easy with property and home life through August 4. Tell your spouse to exercise patience. There may be setbacks or accidents. Be patient. This also applies to your career. Consider long distant ventures. Gain through children and education.

Aquarius: Put some attention on marriage and partnerships over the next two years. Continue to focus on your career. Gain through publishing, teaching and advisory roles. Your initiatives improve after August 4. For some, there is ambition and spiritual progress.

Pisces: Connect relationships with family life. Get extra rest through August 4. Focus on your career and spiritual journeys. Take care of your health and avoid debts and conflict. Protect your children, education and investments, which are vulnerable through mid-August.
