Good points you bring out....

 

However, if Venus, ruling the chart for Libra, is placed in the sixth house,

the results would not be as favorable.

 

It could lead to disputes and conflicts with others, along with health and

financial issues.

 

It is not a strong position for Venus, fame and fortune, even if it is in

its exaltation sign.

 

The additional placement of Jupiter in the sixth house, in old age, would

also lead to a lot of conflict through communications and undermines the

independence.

 

There would be continual disputes, and would weaken Jupiter's general

signification of good fortune.

 

Additionally, the most malefic planet (MMP) for Libra is Mercury, and its

position in the chart would have a negative impact on the sixth house, thus

further undermining the strength of Venus, ruling the chart, and Jupiter,

ruling good fortune, self efforts, and communications.

 

Lastly, Moon, ruling the tenth house of career for Libra, is debilitated in

the navamsa chart. This could undermine the strength of the career and

public favor.

 

As for the well-placed Sun and Mars in the Libra chart, they are weak as the

final dispositor, Saturn, is weak in old age.

Before I put Shirley Temple to rest, I glanced at " The Impact of

Ascending Signs " wrt to Libra which is one of the other possible

ascendants.

 

There are a few points worth noting. This could put the balance in

favour of Libra ascendant.

 

 

 

 

 

>The sign Libra rising in the ascendant gives a magnetic personality, if

Venus is fully strong<

 

 

 

Venus is exalted in 6^th house. " Magnetic " may not be the exact

description of her personality but you would know she was around.

communicate, including the use of body language and facial expressions

for making the communication more effective.<

 

 

 

This would be true. See her movies.

 

 

 

 

 

>Its positive characteristic makes the person a contributor instead of

Asc lord Ve rules the 4H( masses) and 5H of politics and is exalted in

For Libra, Mars would then be in the 5H-- very good for political

campaigning.

 

 

 

I've seen somewhere(source lost) that 6H rules acting abilities. The

Ve/Ju combination in 6H would support this.

" Dedicated public servant " is a key point. What are the combinations for

this for a Libra ascendant?

 

Saturn,yoga karaka and karaka for service aspects the 4H of public. The

6H of service is very strong with exalted ascendant lord Ve and Ju.

 

Note that Ju is lord of 3H of performing and fine arts and aspects the

10H (Its exalted sign Cancer).

 

 

 

 

 

I think the above mentioned points would put some doubt on Scorpio

ascendant and possibly favour Libra. Please give your learned comments.
