i think the reason is in D10. there in 2H & 6H all are exaulted planets (Ve/Ju in 2H and Su in 6th) and maturity age of sun is 21 yrs.

I just wanted to understand how you did predict such a thing so confidently. I am forwarding my understandings here with. There could be one single yoga for this results and, I look forward to learn this, and my understandings are,

1.Raja yoga in 2nd and 4th. Equal numbers of planets in 2nd and 4th create a raja yoga, which functions at younger or early ages. Planets involving are Mars and Venus. Venus is lord of HL and SL, and 11th lord. Mars is in 2nd from Lagna who contribute so much for parakrama ( dispositor of Sun+Mercury) in 3rd from AL. So Mars and Venus yoga is for money/ income.

2. Lagna is 11th from AL indicate his income or earning will be OK in the material world. But I cannot pinpoint "earn well from younger age from this.

3.From 2015 to 2021 he will run Libra Sudasa, where Sree Lagna is in. It is 11th of Lagna, place in 2nd of AL and aspected by Jupiter.

4. AK Venus is 11th lord and lord of the HL and SL ( blessing from Laksmi), is in 2nd from AL (Bank Balance). Since Venus is in 4th, earn from younger ages.

Which one is exacly correct ? If all are wrong please give me another chance to understand it.

There is no lagna gandanta.

Let the various panchangas please the deities for Whom purpose they are written. let us use the accurate ephemeris and panchanga like Varahamihira has advised..choose what is the most accurate calculation. If an astrologer cannot judge the difference between accurate and correct calculations, then he is no Jyotish.

Pada results of magha are right.

When there is no moola gandanta not a magha gandanta then whom are you pleasing/shanti?? No one (deity etc) is angry so why are you wanting to appease?

A copy of his horoscope as per JHora software is attached for your kind consideration. This is my second child. My first child is a baby girl who is born on 2 June 1997 at 1002 hrs.

I humbly put my immediate concern for your kind guidance. I am sure, as usual, I shall get your kind guidance at an early date.

Background

As per BPHS page 764, if following scenario happens, a child is known to be born under Gandanta:

i. Tithi Gandanta : The starting two ghatis of Poorna Thithis viz., Panchami (5th), Dashami (10th) and Puranmashi (15th) and ending two ghatis of Nanda Tithis viz Partipada (1st), Shassthi (6th) and Ekadashi (11th);

ii. Nakshatra Gandanta : The four ghatis of the junction point of Nakshtras Revati-Ashwini, Ashlesa-Magha and Jyehta-moola denoted by the last two ghatis of the first and first two ghatis of the second nakshtra; and

iii. Ascendant Gandanta : Half ghatis astride the junction point of signs Pisces-Aries, Cancer-Leo and Scorpio-Sagitarius totally one ghati is known as Lagna Gandata (ending half ghatis of the first sign and starting half ghatis of the second sign in each case)

My queries/understanding:

1. As per my son’s chart, he is born under the 4th pada (quarter) of Magha Nakshtra. Therefore, he is born under the Nakshatra Gandanta. Please confirm.

2. Though his ascendant is Sagitarius but since it is in the 3rd pada, I don’t think this comes under the Ascendant Gandanta. Please confirm.

3. As per the “Sri Vishwa Vijay Panchangam”, the effect under the 4th pada of Magha Nakashtra is “Monitory and knowledge gains”. It also states that if the affliction is there, then the methods of alleviation of the afflictions be carried out. Please confirm whether the Moola Shanti Path and Havana is required?

a. If yes,

i. when should it be done ? BPHS states 12th day from the birth or on the birth Nakashtra or any auspicious day or during the 8th year of the native (Page 768 para 3-4). Please clarify when should the Moola Shanti process and Havana should be done if the birth date is 10 May 2003 at 2310 hrs. The Magha Nakshtra next enters in Moon on 6 June 2003 at 0920 hrs.

ii. By when the Moola Shanti process including Havana should be completed i.e., should it be completed by 6 June 2003 or should it start from 6th June 2003?

4. As per the book “Sachitra Jyotish Siksha - Muhurata Khanda” Vol. 6, page 60, by B.L. Thakur (Published by Motilal Banarsidas), it states that there will not be any gandanta affliction if the baby boy is born at night and a baby girl is born in the morning. It also states two types of Moola i.e., Big (Bara) Moola [Jyastha, Moola and Ashlesha] and Small (Chota) Moola [Ashwani, Revti and Magha] and that moola shanti of big moola and abukta moola be done in the same Nakshtra in 27 days and for Small Moola it can be done in 12 days or any other auspicious day. Please confirm the understanding.

dear karu,

in my understanding, artha trikono of D10 will show the source of income. and if the planets in artha trikono are exaulted in rashi..will definitely give strenth to fullfill the indications... more than..if they are exaulted/strongly placed in D10 but weak in rashi.

as you have told, rashi is the seed and good income indications should also be present in rashi. Sanjayji has already commented on this.

Dear Dasgupta,

Thanks.We have to use D10 totally independent. This is related to work/career and 10th lord is in 8th indicate sudden job loss. Planets exalted in rasi chart nothing to do with D10, if they are not exalted in D10.

Also predictions were made without rectify the birth time. That is more important. Can you find some thing in Rasi chart ?

Income is some thing related to material life, and indicate by 11th from AL. It could be the "source" for accumulate Sri or Laksmi signify by 2nd. 11th is kendra, 10th from 2nd.

D10 is nothing to do with money. So many sages had their own karma or career without touch this money concept. How do you see this ?

Planets exalted in Rasi are only indications. If they are debilitate in Navamsa It is Raja Banga Neech yoga. We can find lot of charts with so many planets are exalt in risi. But still they failed. Last year how many birth occurred, when the Jupiter is exalt ?

The question was answered already, and can fount all these depend on Rasi chart. One most important thing we must understand, there were so many Jyotishas followed only rasi chart and predict lot at a glance, never failed. It has been proved by now with Guru Deva's answers.

You have joined with me to find the answers for this. Please accept my sincerely and humble respect. We all learning. So it is very natural we do mistakes too. We are learning !.
