Dear Learned members,

Can somebody shed light on the following question:

hOrA sequence: ravi, shukra, buDha, chandra, shani,

guru, mangala and repeat..

Why are days in this order sun, mon, tues.... (Mapped

to) Why is the hOrA sequence is ravi shukra..., why

not other sequence.

I guessed this is somehow related to the planets

order

based on the distance from SUN, but this will fit

onlyif swap ravi and chandra places in hora sequence

<ravi, shukra, buDha, chandra, shani, guru, mangala>

swap moon with sun

Thus, <chandra, sukra, buDha, ravi, shani, guru,

mangala>

shift this sequence -- we get

<shani, guru, mangala, chandra(Earth), sukra, budha,

ravi>

Is there any specific reason for this order

Best Regards,

Venkateswara Reddy
