(For the List: a) if u r in a finance related co, pl see point 3 only,

b) for others pl read point 4-5):

I am too busy & too much in ill-health, to help you right now. For

financial astrology purposes, some hints are:

1. The best western book is: " Financial astrology " by Lt Cdr Williams.

2. Vedic astrology- all of u know best. But as a starting point,

Gurudev had only hinted Moon's conjunctions with Sun & Rahu, vs Moon's

opposition with them.

3. The date of incorporation/ IPOs of cos: if u want to search for each

co, it will be a strenuous affair, but u can start with

" www.valuenotes.com " & search for each co. However, a better way is to

go to any finance related co where u have a friend. All of them

to the Capital Market web-site (capitaonline or something

like that), & the CMIE website (CIMS, I think, is their web-data site).

There, u shd be able to get this data for all cos in India. These are

not free sites, all finance cos to them.

Best of luck in this endeavour. We have these data-bases too in our

office. But I am currently going thru some ill-health. As a matter of

fact, I am feeling so giddy right now also, that I may go home from

office after I make a few calls. I am ccing to the List in case someone

else works for a fin services co, & can help u to accesst his data.

4. Stock markets is NOT about gambling. I ethically, thru tremendous

perspective, with lots of indepth knowledge & NO insider-info, made

HUGE tax-paid (ie provable) returns, when I used to personally invest,

in the 5 yrs from 1994-1999. When I had finished making the money I had

wanted to make, I stopped investing. I haven't bot a single stock since

mid-1999 or so. I may, in the future, who knows, if I need money again.

Yes, it is about about understanding " risk-return " . To become a doctor

or an engineer, u need to study for atleast 5 years. Unfortunately

there is no entry barrier in investing, or astrology for that matter -

all are welcome to pay the tuition fee (by losing money) of this

science/ art with no prerequisite knowledge. Also, people do play the

markets for a host of reasons, not necessarily to make MONEY (like I

did), but to gamble (as a habit), other emotional stimulators, or to

prove something (for their egos), as an intellectual challenge, etc

etc. The majority of people have all these reasons, & thus leave it to

a few of us, who make the money. So Pt Rath was wrong, but RIGHT.

5. Negative Connotation of the financial services industry: Also, in

terms of the connotation. A hand can punch a fist, or carress a loved

one. Financial markets are essentialt make capitalisation fo production

& services HAPPEN. As the simplest analogy, without coinage, we wd

probably starve. To understand the economic value of having an industry

who ONLY take a margin b/w a giver & a taker, I can only analogise: the

hand has to be supported by the heartnbrain, even tho the hand's only

job is to bring the food to the mouth. It is no use complaining, that

most of the time, the hand is only making dancing gestures, which the

rest of the body has to support, while the anus is doing the REAL work

of excreting all unwanted poisons, which would otherwise block the

whole body. Remember, that Manu made 4 castes, including " vaishya " ,

each of which castes has its own importance & place in life. Otherwise,

God would only have made beautiful girls, sweet babies & lovely fruits

& no other form of life on earth.

Best wishes
