Retro Mercury in Natal as well as in Transit

I think Retro Mercury in the rasi chart is a bit more complex and

different from a retro Mercury in transit. E.g.

 

I take a Mercury R in Aquarius (Kumbh) as being in both Aquarius and

Capricorn, and since Merc represents thinking the person might have

retrograde ideas for the first part of life - e.g. about doing things

alone, in a Capricornian (Makar) way. So it is a stuck thinking and

being frugal in expression, and the native has to learn to be unstuck.

 

In transit, however, I found that it is very good for exploring deeper

issues. Especially for people in Mercury dasha or in a Rasi dasa which

has Mercury in Rasi or Navamsh. Just think about it, it is going back to

issues. Where I found it disturbing is surface, superficial, mercurial

issues such as agreements on time, communications and traffic.
