Blind Scientists and Astronomers

As a rule of their lives, intelligent and sensitive astrologers must not pay any attention to the criticism of astrology by irrational scientists and ignorant astronomers. The occasion to make this strong statement arises from the fact that while AAJ TAK channel showed me on the morning of 10 June predicting snowfall and snow storms and effect on weather of Sun-Saturn opposition which has been there since 14 January, reaching its climax on 10/11 February 2007 when they were in exact opposition degree to degree, there were astronomers saying that it was not a scientific fact that such planetary phenomenon had any effect on life and world of human beings.

AAJ TAK TELEVISION CHANNEL

Some intelligent editor of AAJ TAK showed me, snowfall in Simla etc also, side by side in the background to prove the validity of this prediction. Meteorologists who are only "weather reporters" had ofcourse forecast this but only two days before after studying the weather patterns and then "reporting" it, which they call "forecast". But for some inexplicable reason, this channel did not show the same prediction till late in the midnight but showed the other parts !!

Delhi weather

It rained in Delhi for three days, it having become colder suddenly and a thunder shower on the morning of 13 February should have woken up the scientists and astronomers to the astrological validity of predictions in all areas of human life. But why will they do it, even the Hindus scientists ? Their godfathers in west have not "approved" all these astrological predictions and weather forecasts as valid, provable, demonstrable and brilliant, though extra-terrestrial which physical scientists do not accept because they have chosen to remain blind like astronomers.But this has been the original purpose of astrology from the days of our rishis. It was raining on the bald heads of these scientists and astronomers but they preferred to prove that they were bald inside their heads also and bereft of love for truth.

After 15th February

They will not know that after 15 February, the weather will take another enigmatic turn and wherever storms or hurricanes are common, there will be depressions in the sea to cause them.

And if a tragedy is to awaken the world through a shock, it will happen in the second fortnight of February.

Our fault

But astrologers must not indulge in self adulation because we have hosts of fraudulent astrologers who give daily predictions for each rashi which amounts to dividing twelve rashis for fifty crores of people or five hundred millions for each sign !!

Then there are those more dangerously fraudulent astrologers who frighten you with the fraudulent Kaal Sarpa Yoga and saadhe saati always to make a fortune.

A famous editor of a famous English daily newspaper of India consulted astrologers and believed in astrology but called the weekly astrological predictions which he published in his newspaper "mass fraud". He did it to pander to the tastes of the ignorant who see in these weekly predictions their fortunes.

Now with television channels giving fraudulent daily astrological predictions on the basis of fraudulent astrology and even through tarrot cards by garishly dressed women using all cosmetic tricks to appear attractive, astrology will be derided and attacked more.

The sane and honest astrologer must not get identified with these frauds. But that will not help staving off attack on astrology as such astrologers are in an abnormally tiny minority.

ut the rishi tradition must be kept alive.
