Guest guest
OHM SHRI RAGAVENDRAYA NAMAH JAYA JAGANNATHA Namaste Frank, (a)Planets in own varga- that means, own sign and exaltation- are to be considered for these various varga amsas. Not the planets in debilitation. I give below the extract from BPHS in this regard. "....In these divisions, the divisions falling in the grah's exaltation rashi,Mooltrikon rashi, own rashi, and the rashis owned by the lord of a Kendra from the Arudha Lagn are all to be considered (as good vargas). The divisions of a combust grah, defeated grah, weak grah and a grah in bad Avasthas like Sayan be all ignored to be auspicious, for these destroy the good Yogas...."(b) When you mentioned Parvathamsa, it must be dasavarga. In dasa varga D-40 should not be considered. For Dasavarga, D-1,D-2,D-3,D-7,D-9,D-10,D-12,D-16,D-30,D-60 have to be considered.AS per (a) and (b) above, in the chart given by you, in dasavarga, Shukra isin its own sign in D-10 and D-12.ThanksSolai Kannan Frank in Austin [fschmidt]Sunday, April 01, 2001 10:47 PMvarahamihira Subject: [Jaya Jagannath] Significance of Parvathamsa - with charts Regarding below, I forgot to add the charts for reference.... Namaste, As I review the chart I see:1. Venus is several Vargas in the same Rasi of Virgo ( dual sign) and it's sign of debilatation...e.g. Sukra in D-9, D-20 & D-30, which = Parvathamsa ....I also find it in D-40. 2. Now Sukra in D-1 is Maha Yogada ( also owns the 8th and 11th house) and is Putrakaraka. 3. Sukra in D-9 is forms neechabanga raja yoga with Mercury in the 7th with Guru aspecting Mercury from Scorpio. What analysis can I make of this? what gems of wisdom can be surmised from these placements?
