Loosing my faith in any astrological remedy?

Namaste Chandan,

 

If you told that you loose faith in remedy, I wouldn't have replied. But, as a Varahamihira student, when you mentioned that "there is no way I can suggest astrological remedy to anyone" it is not acceptable. Your paramguru has written a complete book on Remedial measures. Does it mean that he is wrong?

 

First understand the working of Remedial Measures.

 

1.There are some problems, which are superficial, which can be removed with small effort in remedial measures. There are some problems, which are permanent, even after several attempt in remedial measures you cannot remove it, like, you cannot make a beggar into millionaire by remedial measure.

 

2. Remedial measures coincide with the timing of your life events as expressed in your chart. For example, a person told me after he wears a coral ring, his problem was solved and when I checked with his chart it coincided with a dasa change. Until the proper time comes, you will not be inducted to remedy.

 

3. Problems or sufferings are relative reference. Actually, I had problems till my knees and I imagined that it is over my head and worried. Later, it went to up to my belly, I thought I drowned. Then I was doing all pooja and remedy, due to the blessings of Gurudeva, Gita and Uddava's teaching opened my eyes. Now, I am actually having problems over my head, but I feel it is below my knees. It is just due to the remedy. My conditions worsened, but I feel great.

 

4. You are claiming that your condition has not reduced a bit. If you didn't follow the remedies, your condition could have been worst than what you are actually experiencing. Just because, it is same before and after your remedial measures, it doesn't mean that it has not taken effect.

 

If remedy is not going to work, the great great maharishis wouldn't have spent so much time on remedial. You have to believe your Gurudeva.

 

As a student you can question the teachings, but not to disbelieve them.

Namaste Solai,

I didn't meant to disbelief in Gurudev or the works done by great

Rishies. But I always like to question before believing in it. For

example I meet lot of people who doesn't belief in astrology for

various reasons, some of them had bad experience with Jotishies who

made wrong prediction for them. So that made them disbelief in

astrology but that doesn't mean that astrology does not work, it is

just they got the wrong person to look at their chart.

 

Regarding Sanjayjis book on remedy, I read the whole book 3 to 4

times, I don't claim to be master of it just by reading his book but

I think I at least understood the basics or few remedies which I

should do for good result. I also consulted several qualified jotish

from here in the group and also from outside of this group and almost

everyone suggested me the same remedy, which I did but it did not

help me a bit. Here is my situation:

I started learning jotish 6 months ago when I joined the group and

also became very spiritual which I wasn't before. Started believing

in mantra shastra and also regularly performing pujas that I learned

from my mother. I also started practicing remedial mantras after I

learned it from my own learning and also suggested by some qualified

members of the group. I think I am spiritual enough not to give up

mantra shastra which I believe will help me in " paro-lok " and reduce

my sin in this birth but as far as mansastra for astrological remedy

for unfavorable dasa and transit goes, I can't believe on it because

it did not work for me and if it does not work for me how can I

believe on it? If I am not mistaken you also looked at my charts few

months back. That's why when one astrologer asked me to wear blue

sapphire I that it might work because it was a totally different

route from what I have been looking at:

I am giving you a list of remedied I did and you tell me if you think

I or lot of other Jottish friends were wrong:

1. Wearing Red Coral, Yellow Sapphire, Ruby, Gomed (I took it off

after wearing one week).

2. Recite Rudram mantra every morning (doing it for almost 4 to 5

months).

3. Worship palan devata and Istha deveta regularly.

4. Got nava graha puja and Yagna done by a good priest.

Yes, I do not claim to have done all the remedies or might not have

done it correctly but you can understand my frustration level when

you face a setback and after been doing so many remedy thing keep on

getting worst.

 

I do not mean to ask for personal consultation on my chart because I

am also trying to learn astrology and so many of my kind Jotish

friends in the group already looked at my chart but if you have any

new Idea or you think my remedies were not right then please let me
