Please ignore my earlier mail... some problem with my computer..... Nathuram Godse has Rahu as his atmakaraka from Atmakaraka. From Karakamsa, navamsa lagna is placed in the 12th. This shows the primacy and importance of moksha and emancipation in his life. There is no doubt that he was a very spiritual person. The question here is, if he was such a spiritual person, what made him kill one of the greatest personality, the world has produced. I expected presence of Rahu with Mercury in the horoscope. Mercury is the planet of reasoning and analytical thinking and when placed with Rahu, it can give perverted reasoning. When he killed Gandhiji, according to him, he did the right thing. So even though he reasoned out he reasoned out why he should kill Mahatma, his reasoning was not correct and can be said skewed or perverted. This is what I meant when I wrote to Lakshmi (without seeing the horoscope), that he didn't have a afflicted Mind (Moon). Infact moon is very strongly placed in the horoscope. Moreover we see that Rahu has also eclipsed Sun, the naisargika atmakaraka, the soul of the native. Hence he couldn't hear the voice of the inner conscine while doing the heinous crime. Saturn is placed in the 11th house of friends and he is the chara gnatikaraka. But he is in debility. We all know that debilitated planet manifest the negetive side of their nature. Saturn, the giver of sorrow, made his Gnati (relatives) fill his ear with bad advice (ku-mantrana), which made him divert from the path of righteousness. His saptamarudha (A7) is placed in the 10th from lagna with Venus (amatyakaraka) and aspected by Jupiter and Moon, shows that he will have some very intelligent and wise associate who would advice him to follow tha path of righteousness. It seems that he must be vacilating a lot before the act, in favour and against his action. Mars aspecting Moon might made him impulsive in nature. I am very sure if he had lived after the gruesome act, even he would have realised his mistake as that action was a momentary outburst of impulsive tendencies. In the navamsa Mars is with Moon strenthening the indications. Mars's placement in the 3rd from the AL and in the Lagna has given him the tremendous courage to do such action. The same Mars in the 3rd from AL has become the cause of his own death (through firearms-mars) From his horoscope I can say that he was not a natural killer and his action was a spurt of impulse. I don't know if I had seen his horoscope before the act, whether I could have predicted the same in advance. Waiting to be corrected....
