(Some requests to others in para 5)

 

1. Pranams. I am daily-morning-continuing my Isht-Devata mantra that

you & Sarajit gave me. Not being disciplined about the Moon-in-Pi-

KAY-break mantra, tho wear the Sphatik-mala u advised. Not been able to

memorise the Kantak Shani mantra yet.

 

2. I have just been transferred/ deputed (still to be clarified) since

April 1, 2002 from Investment Manager, Private Equity (PE) for a US$

100 mn Fund, to Salesboy in our stock-brokerage outfit, as the PE

activity was sold by my employer. I have been out of touch with stock

markets COMPLETELY since Oct 99 when I started learning astrology.

After amassing lots of personal money thru very long term ideas for the

5 yrs of 1994-1999 & thus buying a house ( & liquidating most of my

portfolio), I have had no interest in the markets. However I have been

put on this job as I am supposed to be an outstanding investor, have

been a Head-Research 7 yrs back, & have presonal relations with the

CIOs of the largest pvt sector mutual funds in this country

(batch-mates, etc). However, I know nothing of the broking business.

And dont like the job, & want to get back to PE when an opportunity

arrives in a yr or 2. Basically, I now work 7 days a week till 10 pm+

at night, to catch up with things in this new job. So I see only your

e-mails, once a week & delete all the rest. This will continue till I

get some sense of this new job, which could take 2-3 mons or more at

least.

 

2. As far as astrology is concerned, till I organise my life better, I

intend to only do 3 things: a) wait for the 4th lesson from SJVC, b)

read your e-mails once a week, c) try & continue my analysis of Solai/

Visti/ N Iyer's charts, who have all given detailed comments on my 1st

analysis of their charts (THANK YOU), but I have had no time yet to go

to the 2nd step after that yet.

 

3. I DID do my bit for Bombay- SJVC by introducing Dr Ramchandani (who

does weekly sessions with his BARC scientist-friends, whose house I had

been to once, before April 1) to all the others in Bombay, & ensuring

that all the Bombay members connect with each other & continue these

sessions w/o me for the time being. But for the next few months, I am

flat out, & cant attend/ host anything more. I am simply racing with

time. And have a doc wife with her emergency duties, etc, a 10-month

baby & a 5 yr old son (who calls me his Sunday-uncle).

 

4. If any of u out there, is a cat in stock market astro-research,

which is INDIA-specific, pl do send me your thoughts on my personal id:

nanadhan. Pl try to be brief, as I am currently trying to

do my best in a new career, in a line I dislike, & hope to be out of, &

into PE as soon as the economy recovers & the US starts funding the

Venture Cap industry in India once more.
