Guest guest
Dear Members, I am a new member of this forum. Recently, I came across some words like " benefic dots " What does it mean ? I have been learning K.P. from Marathi books. These words are totally new to me. It is quite possible that I have already learnt it in Marathi but don't know that it is called " benefic dots " in English. A similar thing happened recently. For " Mahadasha & its parts " what we call in Marathi & what we call in Enlish is different & can creat confusion. Luckily my doubts were cleared by some senior members. I request all senior members to help me. Please let me know what exactly it is & how does it work. If there is any big theory behind it (which can't be given in this forum due to its big volume) pl give me details of books which can help me. Thanks & regards. Guest guest
Dear Shri Deshpande, Ashtakavarga system is a branch in traditional astrology in which each planet gets maximum No. of 8 dots according to its position in a Rasi. For this you have to gain knowledge in traditional astrology. This is not in KP system. Even for gaining experrience in KP Astrology, you require sufficient knowledg of traditional astrology too, as KP system is emanated from traditional astrlogy with some improvement for pin=pointing the events. You may get B.V. Raman's.books of (Bangalore Astrological Institute) which will give you good knowledge of traditional astrology. Guest guest
Hi,Here is one good Ashtakavarga tutorial -http://community.compuserve.com/n/docs/docDownload.aspx?webtag=ws-newageliving & guid=10a9cc5f-55f7-4d32-92f0-8a948fdd94ee Speaking of myself, I don't have much success with Ashatakavarga, the way mentioned by Lajmi ji. Shri KSK was also criticized Ashatakavarga. That is the reason, the application of Ashakavarga with KP that too in Mundane astrology is very much exciting for me. There are some examples in KP and RP where astrologer tried to predict numbers (e.g. marks in exam) using RP. I applied the same in the past and didn't get much success. I hope that Ashakavarga can be combined with KP to predict number precisely. More study is required in this space.
