Dear Gurujans,

I have been following KP astrology for sometime but still feel

that I understood the theory part only and not the core meanings! So kindly

request if one of you can please help me to understand the meanings of the

following terms - Star lord, sub-lord, cuspal star lord, cuspal sub-lord mean in

the following symbolic illustration?

If we think that the planets as representing the actors in a play. The signs

would describe the role that each actor has and how he expresses his character,

the (bhava chalit) houses represent the various settings of the play; and the

angular relationships between the planets, the aspects, represent the plot of

the play. Each planet has a characteristic energy. That energy can be expressed

either positively or negatively. The way that energy is expressed is determined

by the aspects of the other planets to that particular planet.

On internet I read that each Nakshatra is ruled by a planet, called 'Star Lord " .

Two or more planets in the same RASHI (SIGN) and same BHAV (HOUSE) in a

horoscope can give different results. And then that the ultimate result,

positive or negative, benefic or malefic helpful or harmful is decide by the

" SUB " in which that planet is posited. But these two statements I am not able to

comprehend in the above illustraion. Also as I requested earlier how the cuspal

star lord and cuspal sub-lord can be explained in the above illustration.

Thanks,

Rakesh
