CUSPAL Sub lords are used all over in KP system but I have not seen many people using or discussing CUSPAL LORDS that much other then predicitng strength for planets which are very close to the cusp OR may be some special cases like cuspal lords which has no planet in it's star etc. May be I am missing something here.

In KP the cuspal sub lord indicates whether a matter is promised or not, for

example for promise of marriage it is to check whether 7CSL sigifies 2,7 or 11.

Only if a mater is promised, then the DBA significators point out the time of

event.

Dear Bhuwan,

As per the K.P. System, the star in which a planet or cusp is posited-in shows the matters that will be influenced/ignited and the sub lord will decide whether that matter is beneficial or detrimental to the native or querant...

You will therefore see that a K.P. Astrologer first identifies the significators,of a House or cusp...and then uses the sublord to decide whether the mattrs signuified will work in favour or against the interests of the native of the Chart or the querant,as the case may be...
