Dear Sunaji,

As per KPNA in file section,

On 1st Jan;2009 KPNA is 23-53-33

On 9t Oct;2009 it says to add 39 Second in this , as above 23-53-33.

23-53-33

+00-00-39

-----------

23-54-12

-----------

It is on 9th Oct KPNA,where Ayanamsa per year add 50 Second, see the table,so it

comes per day 0.1369863.To day is 15th Oct so 6 days passed, multiply per day

with 6 than you will get,

0.1369863 X 6 = 0.8219178

So if look for correct KPNA for today tha it is 23-54-12.8219178.

Now if you have corrected JHora as per my advise than see what is Ayanamsa you

are getting in Jhora,it is 23-54-12.62.

About JD i doesn't know anything because i do not have it.

Thanks & regards,

Dear Sir, Thank you very much for your guidance.Once I tried to make the same, as from yr previous mails in 2008 on the Ayanamsa subject. But in JD, it is allowed to enter two decimal digits only and hence I hesitated. Now I have entered offset value as 22.37 and the out put is KPNA 23.54.12 as at 15.10.2009With due regardsSunaparanthaTW <tw853To:

Dear Friends,

1. From the TABLE OF NEW KPA.doc in the File section, on 1st Jan 2009 the KPNA

is 23-53-33, and from the adjustment table it's to add 39 sec for 15 Oct, and

thus the KPNA for 15 Oct 2009 is 23-53-33 plus 39 = 23-54-12, which is less than

1 second from the exact value of 23-54-13 according to the KPNA (2003) formula.

2. The KPNA calculator at the AstroSage gives 23-54-11, which is less than 2

second from the exact value of 23-54-13 according to the KPNA (2003) formula.

3. The above 23-54-11 or 23-54-12 to be entered into the JHora 7.2 or 7.33

latest versions or Astraura ayanamsa adjustable version etc to get the cuspal

and planetary positions as per the KPNA.

4. The KPNA calculator and the introduction of custom ayanamsa option in the

latest JHora versions are to help the calculation process easier.

5. The easier procedure would not be made complecated.

Regards,

TW

Dear Sir,Thank you.Sorry for the valuable time of you.SunaparanthaTW <tw853 Sent: Thu, October 15, 2009 7:31:12 PM Re: KPNA Adjustment in Jyotish Deepika

Dear Friends,

1. From the TABLE OF NEW KPA.doc in the File section, on 1st Jan 2009 the KPNA is 23-53-33, and from the adjustment table it's to add 39 sec for 15 Oct, and thus the KPNA for 15 Oct 2009 is 23-53-33 plus 39 = 23-54-12, which is less than 1 second from the exact value of 23-54-13 according to the KPNA (2003) formula.

2. The KPNA calculator at the AstroSage gives 23-54-11, which is less than 2 second from the exact value of 23-54-13 according to the KPNA (2003) formula.

3. The above 23-54-11 or 23-54-12 to be entered into the JHora 7.2 or 7.33 latest versions or Astraura ayanamsa adjustable version etc to get the cuspal and planetary positions as per the KPNA.

4. The KPNA calculator and the introduction of custom ayanamsa option in the latest JHora versions are to help the calculation process easier.

5. The easier procedure would not be made complecated.

TW
