A Node signfies the following houses -

Level 1. House it occupies

Level 2. Houses owned and occupied by its Nakshatra lord

Level 3. Houses signified by the planet for which Node is acting as an agent. Generally a Node becomes an agent of a planet who aspects the Node (generally conjunction and opposition). If there is no aspect, Node acts as an agent of the sign lord where it is located.

 

So, here are the signification by Ketu at each level -

Level 1. 5th house = 5

Level 2. Mercury is the Nakshatra lord owns 9th and 11th houses and occupies 7th house = 7, 9, 11

Level 3. Ketu is not aspected by any planet. Ketu is in Jupiter's sign Pisces, hence acting as an agent of Jupiter. Jupiter is in 1st house owning 3rd and 5th house = 1, 3, 5

 

So we can say that Ketu signified 5, 7, 9, 11, 1, 3, 5

 

Generally 6,8,12 houses are not considered good from a house. 6th from 4th = 9th, 8th from 4th is 11. 12th from 4th is 3rd. All the houses are signified by Ketu. Hence the above conclusion. I hope I am able to cleat the point.

 

I can understand that you are not in agreement with me. I have mentioned above points just to add another perspective to the discussion. Anyways this is post-mortem, so easy to see things from different perspective. Real challenge is in future predictions.

My apologies that I didn't mention it earlier. Thanks for the clarification.

 

In my opinion, Ketu antardasa seems more correct in place of Venus antardasa due to following reasons -

 

1. Venus is signifying 8, 12 and still the native is not hurt at all. If it would have been 8, 12, he would have hurt and hospitalized.

2. Whereas Ketu signifies 9 (6th to 4th), 11th (8th to 4th), and 3rd (12th to 4th) by agentship to Jupiter - all pointing towards destruction of the vehicle.

2. Ketu signifies 5,11 directly and 1,5 by agentship to Jupiter - indicating that the native will be safe.

There was no absolutely correct answer, in my opinion. Two people - Lajmi ji and Ramesh Mishra ji mentioned about the accident, though both of them mentioned about him hurting and hospitalization which didn't happen. These were the two closest reponse. Ramesh ji didn't give his reasoning.

 

There were three ways we can see the event -

 

1. Accident without hurting the native

2. Monetary loss due to the damage to the car

3. Mental trauma

 

I guess for accident without hurting, 4th house should be involved without the involvement of 6,8,marka, bhadhaka. Involvement of 4th house is evident. 6th and 8th are not involved, whereas 5th is involved which tells that he remained unhurt.

 

Monetary loss is not very clear from 4-fold signification as 12th is nowhere involved. Jupiter in 1st is there which is slightly negating 2nd, but I do not think that it can be a good enough reason for monetary loss. Dhirendranath Misra ji's reasoning that Mercury in 12th and sublord of Santurn and Ketu have given loss, is interesting but not as per KP. As according to KP, Mercury is not lord of 12th.

 

Even for mental trauma 4-fold significators are not connected with 8th house.

 

The closest interpretation I can have as post-mortem that Ketu signifies 5,7,9,11. 9th is 6th to 4th and 11th is 8th to 4th indicating damage to vehicle.

 

I am sure further discussion will clarify it.

Here is the result of the quiz -

 

 

It was an accident.

 

The person is my departmental boss. He was on his way to office.

(Our office starts at 0800 hrs and entry upto 0810 hrs is allowed). He

started at approx 0755 hrs and was driving at 80km/hr speed along

NH-2 towards the plant (approx 6km from T/ship).

 

On way, a cement laden truck, which was also moving at higher speed,

bumped his car. The first contact was sidewise, near the backdoor. The

car (a Black Ford Fiesta) spun on contact and became at right angle to

the road direction. Then the truck again rammed in to the front door

(Drivers seat..where my boss was sitting) and it became stuck. The

truck did not stop there. The truck along with the car moved for approx

0.5 km and then stopped. The driver of the truck then fled.

 

Damages

 

The person (my boss) was UNHURT, without a single scractch.

 

The car was damaged to a great extent. Expected repair will cost

1.7 lac. However, money is not a cause for worry. The car will be

out of use for 1 month. That part is more difficult at our location where

one needs a conveyance as we reside outside the town.

 

Others

 

I was also driving at that moment and reached the spot 2-3 minutes later.

I, along with my colleagues were astonished to see that no personal injury.

Anybody looking at the car would be amazed to see this miracoulus escape.

 

I was touched to see that so many persons, unknown persons enquired about

the safety of the person. This is may be only possible in India.

 

The person narrated the incident and told that it was a traumatic experience

for him to see that for approx 1-1.5 minutes he was at mercy of the situation.

 

Reasons for such miracuolus escape

 

The person attributed it to his recent visit to Astha Vinayaka temple near Pune.

People say that who visits the temples, get a 'Punarjanma'. He asserts that

this is his Punarjanma.

 

Reasons for posting the chart

 

I am aware about his chart. My boss is also an astrologist who had a very good

repute among his peers. But both of us were unaware that such incident is likely

to happen, Although he was a bit cagey for last few months, expecting something

bad to happen.
