Query for Varshphal Upaya

Dear Priyaji,

 

Hope this finds you in the best of health. Last year, as part of the varshphal upaya I kept 7 pieces square silver pieces in ganga jal.

 

For this year you have recommended me to immerse seven square pieces of silver in the river.

 

1. Can I use the square silver pieces of last year?

 

2. I got the pieces from the silver smith. He cut the pieces by hand and a few of the are slightly off . Should the shape be 100% accurate???
