Guest guest
Dear Sushma ji, [ 1 ] Whenever the solar eclipse is seen in your area, you should do the upaya for Sun + Saturn. Get the upaya from the files. If the eclipse is not seen in the area you live then it is optional; you may do the upaya or you may not. [ 2 ] According to the tradition, the pooja and daan etc should be done whether the eclipse is seen in the area or not. [ 3 ] For the local time I think this site might help you : http://eclipse.gsfc.nasa.gov/eclipse.html Sincerely, Priya , " bhagvatjee " <bhagvatjee wrote: > > > Respected Bhooshan Priya Ji > Jaya Siyaa Raam > > Although is very late now, but I hope that you will receive this mail > in time and I will receive the reply in time too. > > (1) It just got out of my mind that I should ask you about any Upaaya > for this Solar Eclipse, or coming Lunar Eclipse? Guest guest
Respected Bhooshan Priya Ji, Jaya Siyaa Raam Thanks very much for the prompt reply. Since the eclipse was nolt seen in my area, I did not do it. But I did donate some money, observed fasting for the time it was seen in USA area, and did some Jaap of OM Namah Shivaaya Mantra. Now what about Lunar eclipse? What should I do for it? I have heard that there is another partial Solar eclipse on next Amaavasyaa? Is it true? If it is there, is it similarly important as this total Solar eclipse was? If yes, then if it is seen here, do I have to do the same Upaaya at that time also? With all the best regards, Sushma , " " < wrote: > > Dear Sushma ji, > > [ 1 ] Whenever the solar eclipse is seen in your area, you should > do the upaya for Sun + Saturn. Guest guest
Dear Sushma ji, [ 1 ] You do not have the chandra grahan dosh in your kundali, therefore you do not have to do any upaya as such. However you can do the traditional pooja and daan if you like. [ 2 ] No, there is no partial solar eclipse again. The next Solar eclipse is on January 26th, 2009. Sincerely, Priya , " bhagvatjee " <bhagvatjee wrote: > > Respected Bhooshan Priya Ji, > Jaya Siyaa Raam > > Thanks very much for the prompt reply.
