Guest guest
Dear Niket ji, There are absolutely no restrictions to have a shiv ling at home in the pooja ghar. The only restrictions the Shatra are said to lay down is that an idol in a pooja ghar at home should not be more than 14 angul [ 7 inches]high. Even in this restriction, if the pooja ghar idol is more than 14 angul and had been traditionally worshipped in the family then it should continue to be worshipped and should not be removed. Sincerely, Priya , " astroiniket " <astroiniket wrote: > > Dear Sir, > I am in a puzzle, kindly give your view, one of my friend having > Shivling (made of PARAD) at home (home puza ghar or a small house > temple as generally all we have at home). > He is doing worship of lord shiva and offring JAL (watter) in puza > time, some one told him that ? one should not keep shivling in home. > In my personal opinion there is no harm in worshipping of lord in any > form, but I also saw a TV program in that one BABA who was telling > not to keep Shivling or any Yantra at home.
