[ 1 ] No. Those upaya were horoscope specific. They are not general

upaya.

[ 2 ] There are no restrictions about drinking milk at night for the

moon in the 8th house.

[ 3 ] Offering water to the Sun God along with rice or wheat grain

is a different upaya. It is meant for specific planetary placements.

Offering water to the Sun God to appease him is done with milk [

moon] and sugar [ mars ]
