Guest guest
Dear Neena, Here are a few upaya for your health problem : [ 1 ] For the feeling of tiredness/sleepy and lack of energy etc [ a ] Every Saturday gift at a Shani temple a little mustard oil after looking at your own reflection in the oil. This is known as chhaya daan. [ b ] Worship Lord Hanuman every day. [ 2 ] For your knee trouble : [ a ] Apply haldi tilak between your eye brows and the ear lobes every day. Applying haldi tilak on the ear lobes is a must. [ b ] On Sunday mornings before sun rise feed any thing you can to the stray dogs. [ c ] At night before going to sleep apply a little mustard oil on the effected areas. This is an upaya and not a medicine. Sincerely, Priya , " Neena " <n_arora04 wrote: > > Respected Priyaji, > > Hari Om. Guest guest
Thank you so much Priyaji. You are a life-saver. I will start these as soon as possible before shradh begin. The last few days I have been having sleepless nights. This has scared me as when I had this problem a few years ago, it made me sink into depression. Please suggest some uppaya so that I can get a good night of sleep. Could you please let me know why I'm suddenly facing so many health issues and how long this will stay? I am really concerned as in a few weeks I will be starting my 2nd round of IVF and dont want to have health problems which will create unnecessary stress. Also, another request-you had indicated to my husband (rajbaggz) to keep 1kg of jau wrapped in a black clothunder a heavy stone in a dark corner in the house. I just noticed today that some " keeda " had infested the jau. I will leave the jau in a temple, but please let me know if it is okay that my husband re-do the uppaya with fresh jau? My sincerest regards and thanks. Guest guest
Dear Neena, For a comfortable night's sleep : [a] During the night keep a little water at your bed side, towards your head. In the morning throw this water in a flower pot etc, do not throw this water into a sewage drain. Do not drink from it either. Keep under your pillow a little saunf in a pouch [ thaili ] of dull red cloth. You can keep using the same pouch all along. [ 2 ] Yes, he can throw the earlier rotton jau into a river and place new jau as before. Sincerely, Priya , " Neena " <n_arora04 wrote: > > Thank you so much Priyaji. You are a life-saver. Guest guest
Respected Priyaji, I sincerely appreciate your advice. You're so very kind. A few questions: 1. Chaaya daan-can I offer the oil in a paper cup to the temple after seeing my reflection in it? 2. I am suddenly having anxiety Priyaji. My heart beat suddenly shoots up and I start sweating. Please tell me what is going on Priyaji. I'm concerned as I don't know how to prevent such anxiety attacks. 3. I will be making the thaili for the saunf myself. I hope that will be okay. Thank you for your support and guidance. You are our savior. Guest guest
Respected Priyaji: Happy Navratri. Now that Navratri has started, I have started the uppayas as kindly indicated by you. I have a few question...for an uppaya which has no time-frame (for example, pulti haldi tilak, chaaya daan, reciting mantra) how many days should one perform those at a minimum? Your thoughts on this will be highly appreciated. Similarly, about 3 years ago you had adviced me to wear a silver challa as I had seeked advice for you for my marriage to occur. Till date, I wear the silver challa- please let me know if I should continue? Is there any harm in wearing it or if I take it off and if I do decide to take it off, what should I do with it? Always indebted to you, Neena , " " < wrote: > > Dear Neena, > > [ 1 ] Yes you can > [ 2 ] sudden increase of heart beat is because of the planet Sun. > Therefore you should : > > [ a ] Offer water to the Sun God every day. > [ b ] If possible feed either monkeys or ants on Sundays. > [ c ] Recite the beej mantra for the Sun 108 times a day. Guest guest
Dear Neena, Normally upaya should continue for 43 days unless suggested otherwise. In some cases the varsh phal upaya are continued for the whole of that year. There are some generally benefic upaya like offering water to the Sun God, or applying haldi tilak, or feeding a roti or green leaves to a cow, such upaya can continue as long as some one can. You can continue to wear the silver chhalla if you like. In case you want to take it off, then keep the chhalla at home after washing it with ganga jal or rain water. Sincerely, Priya , " Neena " <n_arora04 wrote: > > Respected Priyaji: > > Happy Navratri. > > Now that Navratri has started, I have started the uppayas as kindly > indicated by you. Guest guest
Sir Thank you Priyaji. This is helpful to know. What about uppayas such as chaaya daan which is to be done only on Saturdays...would I need to do this for 43 Saturdays? Or feeding dogs on Sundays. Unfortunately I was not aware that one had to do uppayas for 43 days at a stretch and am wondering if I need to re-do many of my mantra reciting uppayas since those I started with full devotion but would do them intermittently. Overall, I am confident I have chanted the mantras several hundreds of times but probably not without a break. Please let me know what your thoughts are about that. My best wishes and sincerest thank yous. Neena , " " < wrote: > > Dear Neena, > > Normally upaya should continue for 43 days unless suggested > otherwise. Guest guest
Dear Neena, Upaya like chhaya daan can be done for 13 Saturdays similarly feeding stray dogs can be done for 13 sundays. As for the mantra upaya it is always advisable to do them regularly, but in case it is not possible, no harm done. The amount of recitations you have done goes into your accout all the same. Sincerely, Priya , " Neena " <n_arora04 wrote: > > Sir > > Thank you Priyaji. This is helpful to know. Guest guest
Respected Priyaji, Please advice me with the following: 1.My nephew is soon going to be one and a half years old and with your advice we had kept raksha kavach tied around his wrist by getting Ganeshji's blessings. My sister is also wearing the same. You had indicated that he wear this until one and a half years. Could you please suggest what we should with the thread once he completes the time period, and more importantly, what uppaya can be done to ensure his good health and upbringing? I will feel insecure knowing that the kavach is off and he is not wearing any protection. 2. You had indicated to my husband that he keep 1kg of jau in black cloth under a stone for job satisfaction. However insects/bugs have infested it and my husband is scared to re-keep it since we are living in rental property and they have very strict laws about insects/bugs. Could he keep something else alternatively in the house to ensure job satisfaction? Thank you for your guidance. Indebtedly yours, Neena , " " < wrote: > > Dear Neena, > > For a comfortable night's sleep : > > [a] During the night keep a little water at your bed side, towards > your head. Guest guest
Dear Neena, [ 1 ] After the period of year and a half is over, both the mother and the child can take of the raksha thread and offer it before the idol of Lord Ganesh in any temple. For the child the mother can do the following : Either on a Tuesday or a Saturday ,go to the Hanuman temple. Bring home a little sindoor in a silver or brass or copper dibbi from the right arm of Hanuman idol. Apply a tilak of this sindoor , between the eye brows of the child every Tuesday. [ 2 ] In place of Jau, you can keep a piece of Lead [ a metal ] tied in a black cloth under a stone in the west of your house. You can get a lead piece from any one dealing in used car batteries. If that is also difficult to get, then keep kachcha koyala [ wood charcoal ] instead of the Lead pieces. Sincerely, Priya , " Neena " <n_arora04 wrote: > > Respected Priyaji, > > Please advice me with the following: > 1.My nephew is soon going to be one and a half years old and with > your advice we had kept raksha kavach tied around his wrist by > getting Ganeshji's blessings.
