It would be better if it is not used.

This is known as a 35 year LK age cycle. Years 34-35 belong to Mercury. Therefore from December you are going to enter the age cycle of mercury. Since mercury is your lagnesh it should be good.

I prefer to go by the Vinshottari dasha to time events. The LK age cycle is a rather rough method. The Vinshottari dasha is a subtle method.
