Dear Priyaji,This is the first time I am writing to you. I moved to America in November 2001. My cousin promised me a partnership in a motel but then failed to follow through with the offer. Then, I moved to another city and a female cousin with her husband and myself became partners in a convenient store with petrol pump. She and her husband cheated me with money and gave me and my wife lots of mental stress. Then, in December 2003 I paid her more money than i should and bought her share and took over the store. I have been making just enough money to survive. There is not much of any savings. Recently, on November 11th 2008 two black guys came with a mask and gun and hit me on my nose and broke it. They also fired two shots but luckily they didn't hit me. They took my money from the cash register. I had to go to the hospital. Again on December 17th, another two guys came with mask and gun and this time they did not hit me but they hurt one of my customers and took money again. I, my wife, and my children are afraid to run the store, but there is not alternative. So, I have to run the store. I tried to look for other business but could not find any. Also, people are not interested in buying the store because of bad area. Priyaji, please give me some remedies so that: 1) My store, my business, me and my wife are protected.2) My business income increases and expenses decrease and I am able to save some money for my old age.3) My mental confidence increases4) My daughter's and my son's education5) I just bought a house and I am nervous because of the economy.
