Namaskaar, After having a keen study of 4/8/12 houses, I think, better they should be called bhoga trikona, 4'th is primarily a house for happiness, home and mother, it also denotes one's mindset to some extent, A great astrological text of tantrik background "Jyotisharnava Navneetam" conjoines 4'th to 5'th house and states 4'th also denotes Poorva Punya, I find myself agreed to Navneetam's views.

8'th is the house of mysticism not the spirituality, the person with good 8'th house significations has a flair for Mysteries, they get tendency to speak in a mystic's tune, I have met such people whos mind seem to be difficult to decipher, but if u get deeper and if catch a fibre of their fabric, u will there is hardly anything substantial in what they are presenting, they use words,colors, numbers, footsteps, cloths, stars or will look at zero in the sky when u r near them, but if u weigh them what they are saying, u will find under the cover there is almost nothing special, all is more a presentation, fabric of words. the good looking fuss. 4, 8, 12 has been called Moksha trikona for too long to rechristen it.

Each bhava has a positive and a negative side. So the bhava for bed

pleasure also denotes lack of bed pleasures and so on. The names of the

4 trikonas are to do with the Chaturvidha Purusharthas and not

something that is given out of imagination of the sages.
