Dear Bhaskar,

Desist from derogation. You have no idea what you are talking

against. Be precise, and polite be.

Dear RK,

Derogation to myself, maybe.,

but not to anyone else.If

it seemed otherwise then please

forgive me.

I seek astrological discussions and

arguments in plain simple understandable

astrological parlances, which lead us to

pointers which provide predictions

to study any charts.

I am not against any individual, yes

but would like to exchange arguments,

and am against any stuff which does not provide

me material or food to make or equip me

to become a better astrologer.

What would happen,

When it would happen.

and how it would happen,

is all what an astrologer

must and should be concerned

about.

Any discussions which teach us

how to read above, is always welcome.

Rest is a waste of time,I believe.

Hope you agree .

kind regards,

Bhaskar.

Om Namah Shivaye,,

Namaste Bhaskar ji.

In BPHS, " In chap 34, sloka 17, it says.. if rahu and /or ketu are in

kendra, receiving a dristi from or are in association with the lord

of a kona or of a kendra, it will become a yogakarka " -

Kindly explain what would be the effects of such rahu/ketu in the MD

or AD period.. Also how do u acertain if both rahu /ketu periods will

be favourable, or equally unfavourable..

Kindly also consider the sign in which the nodes are placed will make

a difference to their outcomes.. rahu in aquarius, scopio,, ketu in

taurus/gemini etc.., so which signs give more benefic outcomes?

What difference wud it make if the said rahu or ketu is conjunct a

kendra lord and when it is conjuct a trikona lord?..

When Rahu becomes an atmakarka,( using the 8 planets), does it become

more or less malefic??

Many thanks

Sheevani

Om Namah Shivaye,

Namaste Sheevaniji,

There is no reason for us to disbelieve what has

been written in the BPHS. When in says so,

then we better believe it.

Rahu in kendra especially

with a Yogkaraka in conjunction

would itself act as a Yogkaraka,

that is give benefic results.

Rahu itself is aTamasic graha, therefore

the quality of results though benefic,

would vary accordingly as the sign it

is placed in. It is beyond the purview of

time and space to take each ascendant and

4 Kendras, and explain what each placement

would result in.

When Rahu becomes a atmakaraka (If you take

the nodes as also ioncluded in the reckoning of the

Atmakaraka), it would still give the results

which the atmaKaraka is expe cted to. One should

just remember the driver driving

the car as represented by the

planet. The planet in question whether a

Atmakaraka, Yogkaraka or signifying whatever,

would have its basic inherent quality present in

itself which cannot be eroded, and would

surface time and again, when laying out the

results in the natives Life. In Mars case

the results would come in agression, in case of

Rahu in quick unfathomable succession, in case of

Venus, with style-through women , etcetra.

Keeping all above in mind, as the base,

I have my own method of judging the results of

the Nodes, as taught by My Guru, which I have time

and again presented on various forums, as under.

a) Check the Nakshatra in which Rahu is.

2) Planet conjunct with Rahu(Only within 4 degrees orb)

3) Planet aspecting Rahu

4) The sign in which Rahu is placed.

Okay now I have to rush for office.

I am already late today.

regards,

Bhaskar.
