Guest guest
Chandrashekharji, Lalit, The chart of Aurangzeb is deceptively un-despostic -- hardly much awry at first sight. That makes it an intersting case for study. What I noted in the chart is the planets in Taurus (and in Leo). In exaltation is moon, and that is joined by Saturn, who is YK from moon lagna. Two principal lagna factors getting together and both strong in a kendra. The clues to this austere despot lie scattered. Saturn+moon in an earth sign in 4th hse speaks of a conservative who is stubborn. Together with Ju in Asc, it makes for strong conviction, a dedicated follower of his faith. Where are the hard edges? Ju and Mars association makes for (at least) a domineering person. The clincher clue comes from hse 10. The lord goes to a fiery sign, the ruling sign Leo. (Mars and Ju in Leo are palnets to watch out for, irrepressible. ) And aspects own hse -- saamraajya. What were his doings. 10L going to 7H bespeaks clash. Mars transfers that to Lagna via aspect. Ju in turn covers for Mars with its aspect. Not just that. As 11L, it eggs Mars on. For Aqua Asc, Jup in lagna makes one greedy/acquisitive. His Deccan campaign. Killings: Moon is 6th lord. Puts the enemy (at) home. Ketu plugs them (enemies) out. Mars raises the weapon. Rivals are INHERENTLY weak; Sun in debility. Jupiter protects the Lagna. The austere, workful side: Budhaaditya yoga in 9th, which receives the aspect of Jup. He was quite philosophical in his own way; had a mind of his own all along. Ven in 11th powers his thirst. To round off, his 10th hse situation (EVEN if empty) helps us to build up a picture that has impressed itself on history. Ketu in 6th seals victory as Mars engages him in face-offs of a whole range. Guest guest
Dear RK Da, I can see your logic. My only worry is that with Jupiter aspecting the 9th and the karaka for 9th, why would he put his own father in Jail? I can understand that with strong Sun ( exalted in Navamsha) his having difference of opinion with father, but putting him in Jail? Again the 3rd lord and karaka for 3rd, Mars is aspected by Jupiter and yet he put his brothers to sword. Guest guest
Hello RK Daa, Thanx a lot for dissecting the AurangJeb's horoscope, i have cross checked the birth details with Notable Horoscopes of Sri BV Raman, it matches so there is no doubt on auhtenticity. My observation is any planet placed in lagna gives a drive to that person, makes him bit assertive and if negatively aspected he dosn't hesitate doing violence too, if 11'th is stronger and affliction to moon/4'th/5'th/9'th etc. he can commit crime also. In his case, Ju's presence in lagna was confusing me but such a placement is required to snatch the throne. We need to understand when a planets make a person Satwika and when gives him position. In this case Tamasik Saturn exposed his negativity to understand some net astrologers who advocate and see Saturn behaving like Jupitor and giving satwika attributes to a native. Astrologers should be able to visualize complete persona of a native, that needs thorough understanding of the theory given in classics. Thanx for giving ur views. regards, Lalit.
