Guest guest
Group, " Neeraj " , I mean Gopal Prasad Neeraj is a noted hindi poet and respected scholar, it was not known to many that he was an authority in vedic literature as well as astrology too, one of his desciple Dr. Arastu Prabhakar has done further researches in particularly KP system of astrology. He once suggested to optimise the 120 years vimshottari dasha to 5 yrs time, to understand the govt's longevity and it's finctions. I find his suggestions very logical. I have done a try, have a look of it : Sun : 6 yrs reduced to 3 months, Moon: 10 yrs -> 5 months, Mars: 7 Yrs-> 3.5 months, Rahu: 18 yrs -> 19 months, Jup: 16 yrs-> 8 months, Sat: 19 yrs-> 9.5 months, Merc: 17 yrs-> 8.5 months, Ketu:7 yrs -> 3.5 months, Venus: 20 yrs -> 10 months Method to calculate: for sun, 6 yrs are alloted, so, the prportion is - (6/120)*5 = 3 months. same way u can find out Antardasha period also, for sun it comes to 4 days 12 hrs, as sun is alloted 3 months 18 days, for moon it's 7 days 12 hrs, mars it's 5 days 6 hrs, for Jup, it's 12 days, for Rahu it's 13 days and 12 hrs, for saturn it's 14 days and 6 hrs, for merc it's 12 days and 18 hrs, for ketu it's 5 days and 6 hrs and for venus it's 15 days. So, in all, the antardasha period takes up 90 days, for Sun's Mahadasha, whereas in 120 yrs vimsottari it w'd take 3 months 18 days or 108 days. Now, u can make a table of Antardasha (approx) for the Mahadasha of the remaining Planets, I found relatively better results, Let's take some cases of formation and fall of some govts in india. Hope, I will be able to write tomorrow on some of them. regards, Lalit.
