Guest guest
Dear Group and Elders, The 6th house is said to indicates among other things doubts (Shanka) ? how to read this , step mother, punishment etc. It's along with the 3rd, 10th and 11th counted as a 'Upachaya'. It is the house of service (work). 6th is also the house of punishment, depending on whether the work performed is good or bad, as per the principle - "Tanau Tanah Danda Hara" (6th and 11th "Tanau Tanah means 6th to 6th" are the houses of punishment and reward). Let's take Pt Jawahar Lal Nehu's horoscope, Saturn from 4'th house aspects 6'th house, so, how to read the effect ? may be out of the context, his heart attack is bit difficult to justify. 6th is the house of struggle and fight with enemies. The strength and weakness of the enemy is to be seen from here, My query is How ? In my chart I get victory whenever Sun is favorable to me either in transit or in dasha, but whenever, Mar's comes to play, I get set backs, they both are placed in 6'th house on Leo, Mars is 2nd and 9'th lord and debilated in 12'th house of navamsha. the old dictum of 9'th lord's being always good never worked in my life, mars has always put me in troubles and unwanted disputes, though aspected by lagna lord Jup. It is considered good to have a weak or debilitated 6th lord as it indicates that the enemy is weak and could be won over. Sanjay Rath, SJC says - > to defeat the enemy the person would require a strong 7th house. What our group members think ?The 6th is also the house of service. This determines whether the person would be a 'karmayogi' or not. It also determines whether the person would render service or would run a business and in what manner and circumstances. To determine the profession or karma, it is important to study the 10th from 6th house i.e, the 3rd house (Bhavatbhavam principle) which determines the karma of the service rendered by the person. Rendering service in terms of physical labour in temples or places of worship and worship to "Shani" - the lord for labour will rectify afflictions to the 6th house. What Group Thinks ?The 6th also happens to be the 2nd from the 5th house, which is the house of children. It, thus, sustains the life of the child. Can we have some horoscopes to confirm it ?The 6th house indicates servants too. It also indicates whether the person himself will do his work or will get done from the servants? How .. regards,Lalit.
Guest guest
Dear Lalit, Are you certain the translation is "6th and 11th "Tanau Tanah means 6th to 6th" are the houses of punishment and reward"? It is said that malefics in the 6th (also the trishadaya) give good results. I do not think strength or weakness of enemy is seen from 6th. 7th is the house of opponent. 6th is the house of legal suites, enmities, disease, maternal relatives and so on. Take care, Chandrashekhar. litsol wrote: Dear Group and Elders, The 6th house is said to indicates among other things doubts (Shanka) ? how to read this , step mother, punishment etc. It's along with the 3rd, 10th and 11th counted as a 'Upachaya'. Guest guest
Resp Chandrashekhar Ji, Sir, Tanau Tanah is said in the context of 6'th house, so, i understand, it means dinstance from a house that a house has from the lagna, i.e, 6'th from 6'th = 11'th. If m wrong, pls. make me correct. Phaldeepika and other classics are in agreement that if lagna lord is stronger than the 6'th lord, the native is stronger then his enemies and a victory is certain. The 7'th's connection in this regard seemes a distant reality, a weak reality, I have confusion over Sanjay Rath'th interpretition. I was taking 7'th as house of counterparts not as a house of opponents. Pls. let's know more, also tell, when and howe we can fix if one is doing work for others or getting work done by others. regards, Lalit. Guest guest
Dear Lalit, You got me wrong. Tanau Tana is 6th and 6th from 6th, no doubt about that. I was asking about Danda and Hara being punishment and reward. Could you point me to the shloka and adhyaaya of Phaldeepika? I could then comment on it as these days I am under Sujok treatment and with magnets placed on my hands, I find it difficult t turn pages of texts. 7th is the house of opponent in question about kingdom under attack. Work for others and others working for one is a bit hazy as many who work for others have others working for them, especially in a large organization. It is easier to say if there is a likelihood of one working for oneself or others. Of course if a chart is over all chart one can say one will get others to work for him and if not one will himself work for others. Take care, Chandrashekhar. litsol wrote: Resp Chandrashekhar Ji, Sir, Tanau Tanah is said in the context of 6'th house, so, i understand, it means dinstance from a house that a house has from the lagna, i.e, 6'th from 6'th = 11'th.
