To Chandrashekhar sir--- Related to the functional malefic planet in 11th house…

Respected Sir,

 

Consider a case (A part of horoscope of a girl)---

 

Ascendant- Sagittarius

 

So the 11th house has Libra sign. 11th house has 4 planets- Venus, Jupiter, Moon

and Saturn.

 

No planet is aspecting the 11th house.

 

My Observations and Queries---

 

1) 11th lord is said to be a functional malefic (since the 11th house is 6th

from 6th house and 12th from 12th house). Here Venus becomes functional malefic.

But since it is present in its own sign (Libra), making it so strong.

However I think that Venus will provide its ‘lordship’ results in the

11th house in its dasha/bhukti (ie, it would increase earning/source of

earning).

Also It would provide all its ‘natural’ virtues (like interest in

music, poetry, astrology, healing etc).

 

Am I right?

 

2) This is a horoscope of a girl. Here the ‘patikaarak’ Venus is afflicted

by Saturn. Jupiter and Moon are also there in 11th house, so I think they will

reduce this affliction to some extent.

Jupiter is present in its inimical sign, but is the ascendant lord; so I

think Jupiter will support much to reduce the negative effect of saturn on

Venus (because of becoming the Ascendant lord).

 

Am I right?

 

If we consider overall result, we find affliction of Venus is definitely there.

Could we expect the amount of affliction of Venus here and how would it affect

the marriage life of that girl?

 

3) Regarding the functional maleficance of Venus here---Since the 11th house is

6th from 6th house and 12th from 12th house; so the lord of 11th (here Venus)

would provide the sickness, debt, losses in its dasha/bukti.

So, Venus will give mixed results from the point of view of earning (earning due

to the lord of 11th but losses due to the functional maleficance).

 

Am I right?

 

4) Here Venus aspects the 5th house.

How do you consider the aspect of Venus in the 5th house as a functional malefic

planet?

Dear Saurabh,

 

Venus in 11th for Dhanu lagna will be good as even the malefics give

good results in own house. being also lord of the 6th it will indicate

income from own labor, litigations, relatives etc. yet the Dasha by

itself will not be good as it is a functional malefic. How ever the

antar and other dashas of trine lords and other shubha grahas shall

give good results. Also remember that 4 graha in 11th indicates the

tendency to renunciate the indications of 11th house and could range

from giving up relations with elder sibling, younger uncle, hearing of

left ear and even income. So it could mean giving up on the work one is

doing at times.

 

Venus does not get afflicted by Saturn as the two are bosom friends.

Again Saturn being exalted will give good results and not bad ones.

However Saturn trining the 7th and aspecting the Lagna could delay the

marriage.

 

I think though Venus could indicate earning what will happen will also

depend on the aspects and occupation of the transit graha too. I have

already given what other results could be expected as 6th lord goes to

the 11th.

 

Results of aspects are derived from natural beneficence or malfeasance

of a planet and not its functional nature.
