Consider a case---

 

Ascendant--- Gemini

1st house--- Rahu

5th house ---Saturn

6th house--- Jupiter

7th house--- Mercury, Moon, Ketu

8th house--- Sun

9th house--- Venus, Mars

 

 

Query: Regarding the results of Jupiter---

 

Jupiter is a functional malefic planet. It is said that a functional malefic

planet gives good

results when it is situated in the 3rd, 6th, 10th or 11th house. So here Jupiter

should give good results related to the 6th house.

What type of good results related to 6th house would Jupiter provide?

 

It is also said that a planet aspects a house according to its natural behavior

(not functional behavior), so here Jupiter would have benefic aspects in the

10th, 12th and 2nd houses. Jupiter is the lord of 10th house, so its aspect will

definitely provide major growth in the profession. Aspect in the 12th will try

to minimize the losses and in the 2nd house, it will increase wealth.

 

Am I right?

It is the natural malefics like Shani, Mangal and Rahu that are said to

give good results in trishadaya. However Guru in the 6th will give good

results as it has a tendency to harm the bhava occupied. It will allow

good happening in career on account of its aspect on the 10th and

accumulation of wealth due to aspect on the 2nd, though here the aspect

of Saturn will lessen the quantum. However as to expenditure, in the

case cited by you Mars also aspects the 12th bhava. So he may not

exactly control expenditure.
